Donald Trump is the voice of the GOP. He speaks to the core of what the GOP is. What’s more, polling is showing that the Dems could run a coat rack with a bucket on top and beat him.

(A) The Trump phenomenon is lasting far longer than most of us thought.
(B) Voters’ attention spans can be astonishingly short.
Democratic candidates at all levels, Democratic Party officials and most Americans concerned about the future of the Republic are hoping and praying that both (A) and (B) get lengthened significantly.
Republican outreach looks more like a pogrom.
