In a way, I’m relieved he’s busy monitoring the Jade Helm exercises. He won’t be bothering (or possibly harming) anyone else.

That was my reaction. Comfortable life but believes he’s living under tyranny: check. Racism: check. Hollow threats of violence against obscure enemies that probably aren’t the actual problem: check. Paranoia: check. Victimhood complex: check. Inability to grasp complexity: check. This guy is just your run-of-the-mill conservative, posting run-of-the-mill conservative daily blather.

Folks like Lanteri are so consumed with hate that they can’t think straight at all. Everywhere they look they see government evil going on. All I see is a bunch of old white guys not liking who we are as a country. They fight for a time that never was and never will be. They want to return to the 1950s and early 1960s when white men ruled and women and minorities didn’t have it so good. They love to point out how great the economy was while ignoring that is was the strong unions that made the middle class. Live bitter and angry old white men. The rest of us are moving on.

In my part of the country, I’ve never been worried about the government “taking my gunz” nor terrorists “coming to get me.” These are the people I worry about getting on the wrong side of.

Actually, Ken dolls like Lanteri scare the tar out of me. I have a neighbor who is a lot like Perky Pete. He keeps going on about the importance of knowing where to find all the traitors, commies, fags et al when the time comes. He says he keeps lists. Who knows? Maybe he can read and write. Like I said, he scares me and when I see him, I cross the street.
