That’s an obscenely untrue statement.

This is the same guy who says Mormons aren’t Christians. You know, marginalizing them.

By ‘marginalized’ he means ‘laughed at.’

I would like these Christians to explain to me when they have been put in jail for being Christian, assaulted and murdered without consequences for being Christian…being told you can’t discriminate against someone is not persecution!

Well, technically, Mormons aren’t Christians…but then most Christians aren’t Christians either. They ignore the Word of Christ and 9 out of the 13 known Gospels. They rely heavily on the Old Testament and ignore the New Testament except for the Epistles of Paul, which are pretty much rubbish because Saul of Tarses never learned from Christ and took years and years before he even bothered to learn from the actual Apostles. He made himself sound like an expert on Christ based on what his slave told him.

The closest thing to the Holocaust in that picture is Fox’s use of Goebbels’ propaganda techniques.

Woke up on Sunday, drove myself and my son to a Catholic service. Afterwards they offered donuts and coffee.

I wasn’t stopped on my way into or out of the church by any person opposed to my going in there. Not a single sideways glance or less than charitable word was said to us for attending the service.

The only time I’ve felt any discrimination against us as Catholics was the time we came out of mass and all the cars in the parking lot had been leafleted with anti-Catholic literature. The group responsible was a non-denominational CHRISTIAN group that doesn’t believe Catholicism is a true religion.

So he’s correct. We are being persecuted–but by people like him.

I could not agree more with this astute observation.

Just look at how Fox television and talk radio marginalize Christians day after day, treating them with contempt hour after hour. Murdoch, Ailes, Hannity, Limbaugh, O’Reilly; total Christian haters!

Even given the absolute idiocy of his statements, I do have to say that he does make one cogent point, although inadvertently. The Jews did nothing to bring the holocaust on themselves. “Christians” like this ass-hat not so much … they’re out there spoiling for a fight.
