Discussion for article #221903

Um, it’s one poll and you can’t make any accurate analysis based on a single poll. Hopefully, other polls will show things trending well for Democrats but until then it’s best to remain cautiously optimistic.

Sure, it’s just one poll, but it has to start somewhere. The narrative so far has been unchallenged. Time to change that.

I think we’re already seeing that in LA. While Mary Landrieu has more than hedged her bets on the Keystone pipeline, she has recently taken a very positive, assertive position on ACA. Could be she’s got internal polls that match (or come close to) the NYT poll.

“The Kevin-the-Page Factor”?

The ACA is a political winner for the Dems too bad they don’t seem to get that!

“…the politics of Obamacare aren’t as set in stone as the conventional wisdom would have you believe.” There it is. My voice is hoarse from screaming that for months.

Kristol has already unskewed it so I now give this poll a lot weight.

True. But the “didn’t vote/won’t say/don’t know” numbers are a full 1/3 of the data, so this is not a “likely voter” survey, I would think.

I hope the Democrats who are running this year are hearing this!

It’s also backed up somewhat by data from other polls. The GOP is going to be in for a rude surprise in 2014 just like they were in 2012.

Any poll that freaks out the right as this one is clearly doing is more important than the numbers imply.

But, but, it’s skewed!!! When you take out all the liberals, Obamacare is wildly unpopular!! Libs aren’t real Americans!!! Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!

Governor Bobby Jimbo is pretty damn dumb for a Rhodes Scholar. You’d think he would at least have the capacity to wise up, but instead he just keeps blundering on, shaming himself and the schools that granted him diplomas.

This is consistent with polling all along, it’s just finally broken the name barrier. People used to like Obamacare, only you couldn’t call it Obamacare. Now they just plain like it.

Dems own ACA. They know it. Voters know it. Everyone knows it. So running away from it makes them look like craven cowards. Stand up, own it with pride, and you will gain respect rather than lose it.

HA HA HA, all you have to do is look at question 34 to realize how stupid this poll is: In 2012, , did you vote for Obama, Romney, someone else or did not vote.

In Arkansas, 27% voted for Romney, 26% voted for Obama, 32% did not vote.

In Kentucky, 31% voted for Romney, 28% voted for Obama, 29% did not vote.

In Louisiana, 28% voted for Romney, 31% voted for Obama, 25% did not vote.

In NC, 31% voted for Romney, 38% voted for Obama, 21% did not vote.

Who in the hell did these idiots survey? Romney won three of these states by an average of 20%, but in these poll he only won by 1% in one, 3% in one and actually polled 3% behind in the other.

In NC, he won by 2% but loss in this poll by 7%.

This is a poll that is giving democrats encouragement?
