It’s no surprise that we’re conducting exercises in unconventional warfare in the parts of the US that are geographically the most like the areas we’re engaged in or might engage in conflict (i.e. the Middle East). That in itself is a little worrisome but, really, the level of Obama-hate that Republicans have methodically created in their constituents worries me a lot more. It’s almost reached the level of mass-psychosis.

So, if Texas is so worked up about the takeover of the state, why are they gearing up to ignore the Supreme Court when it rules for gay marriage? I think the US military with just who is presently in the state itself right now, could handle the job. There are more troops there in garrison than there were in Iraq during the surge.
