Were Gandhi, MLK, and Rosa Parks carrying assault rifles when they peacefully protested?

The last thing I’d give this guy is a gun… Thorazine, maybe, but not a gun.

This is becoming a pattern: RWNJ says something blatantly astonishing to the rest of the universe; blowback from the rest of the universe; RWNJ retracts statements because they’re being “misinterpreted”.

Can’t wait to see how Tom Tillis tries to maneuver out of his “let the market decide whether food workers wash their hands after going to the bathroom” comment.

Right, and RANDY PAUL didn’t say that vaccines cause mental illness. I guess video lies.

Even the Tea Party Lt. Gov. of Texas is saying “open carry” is dead in this legislative session.

And after this, the Lege won’t meet for two years.

It’s dead because of Watkins’ antics at the Capitol. He is truly Our Man on Their Side, and I congratulate him for his success.

Being a rabid opponent of Texas’s ridiculous gun laws as they stand, I welcome Mr. Watkins to the fight. He’s doing a great job of keeping things from getting worse.

He read it on the Internet, so it must be true.

The asshole must have got a visit from the FBI, which is good because he’s obviously being watched as a potential terrorist now.

“Let me remind you, going against the Constitution is treason. And, my friend, that is punishable by death. That’s how serious this is”. Kory Watkins, early Wednesday.

“Let me make it clear and unequivocal: I was not talking about hurting legislators, or anyone else.” Kory Watkins, later Wednesday.

I wasn’t suggesting you kill yourself in my last post, Kory, only that you should follow nature’s plan for you and cease to exist.

Instead of just a foot in the door. perhaps we need ‘sit ins’ chanting ‘hell no we won’t go.’"

So a dozen agitated, shouting men strapped with assault rifles propose barging into a legislator's office in the state capitol. They then propose that if asked to leave they'll refuse. Yet we think the Middle East and other countries struggle to deal with crazed, armed thugs and need bombed into civility. The U.S. does "crazy" with the best of them.

It’s safer to harangue lawmakers in their offices than to “orange march” through minority neighborhoods.

Yes, he didn’t threaten lawmakers with death for treason.

He was just showing the whole world just how tiny his penis is!
