I was lucky enough to see Woodward and Berstein last night at the Kalb Report (at the National Press Club). They talked so glowingly about this man as well as Katherine Grahm. I hope he got to listen to the show. He really seemed to be an amazing person.

Ben Bradlee is a noble exemplar for present journalists, regardless of the format they work in. Our country would be better off if more of them did!

Agree. By all accounts he was that rare bird: A great boss which is another way of saying a great leader.
One is lucky to have maybe two great teachers in life. Same is true about bosses. At least 2/3 are incompetent and that’s on all levels.
