TY for the reply. If it should be there’s a bunch of exculpatory evidence in Wilson’s testimony that leads the grand jury not to indict, one would hope that the Ferguson PD would release it at some point.

I wonder if the grand Jury will hear from other eye witnesses and not just Wilson’s version? The reason Wilson is testifying is because the other witnesses must of testified. He was shot through the top of the head. There’s only one way to do that.

reports of eyewitnesses stating that Brown did indeed attack the officer
Are these the same “witnesses” that posted the faked picture of Wilson’s injuries?

I think that that meme is there is no D.A. who can’t get a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich. (Hmmmm. Haaaaaaammmmmm.)

At least
if not an emoticon.

and I’m the old guard and didn’t know the actual word for those ugly cartoon faces. Thanks, having seen it written I am now better informed about something I won’t use. Never used Xs for kisses either.

!!!1!!!1!1!!!ONE!!

Sorry, I kinda of missed it.

But oddly, we don’t have confirmation of that from the family. And we don’t have any followup. So I don’t know – there’s a big difference between “willing to meet” and “want to meet”. (As most of us know from the acquaintances to whom we sometimes say “let’s get together some time” in the fervent hope they don’t take us up on it.)

"Wilson should be arrested "

Where does he say anything about conviction? Baci302 talks twice about the need to try this guy and your all off on the standards for conviction. As if the one refuted the other.
You either need to clean your ears, or stop employing these assinine linguistic tricks to justify a posible murder.

You realize that Bryan Willman had to quit his job and leave the state. People who live at his former addresses were receiving credible death threats, on top of the several hundred death threats sent to him. And that was Bryan Willman, for whom I am pretty certain all the evidence indicates he is completely innocent.

I worse than either of us thought. If you type the traditional typewritereze for one a :, a -, and a ), like we just did, IT will automatically change it to a fucking emoticon!
We’re getting too old for this shit.

It sounds like a good idea, until you consider that the state AG appoints the special prosecutor, and most AGs are as strongly tied to police as McCulloch (real chance McCulloch could be the state AG in 2020). And that appointing a special prosecutor means the trial to Jefferson City, which is pretty much a white upper middle class city.

So what’s the fuss about? That even though the DA is “willing to meet,” that’s not good enough because the DA has to express that he “wants to meet.” And because you don’t believe their “willingness to meet” represents a genuine desire to meet, you’re upset.

You know what, whatever. I’ll let all the hand-wringing to those who are determined to find controversy and fault in the most mundane minutia of distinctions.

But let me just say, you’re stretching this thing to the point approaching absurdity, at least from my perspective.

You realize that you are talking out of your ass, don’t you? That guy is still a cop, still lives in his same house and is doing OK. The coward who did the shooting could have come forward immediately and announced to Anonymous and the world that it was he, Darren Wilson, who shot Michael Brown multiple times until he was dead. The Ferguson PD cowards could have cleared it up, too. But the coward cops were too busy covering up Wilson’s crimes and didn’t bother to clear the record and announce that it was Wilson, not Willman who killed the unarmed kid.

They might have a fix for that when the actual bill is finalized. It isn’t likely to be overlooked by this State Senator.

But in the end, it still comes down to the fact that Americans have to elect just people at all levels of government to get a just society…

Agreed, Palli, that we need to elect just people but that isn’t always going to happen. We must then rely on a just populace to describe the boundaries of right and wrong. And the people have to feel safe to speak the truth to power. When the cops struggle with the truth, as they are in Ferguson, and the cops are at Def Con 4, it gets very dangerous out there.

You might be right. But in this case, where pretty much everyone involved with the governmental side of this has lied and screwed up time after time, I find it difficult to take official statements at face value.

“Crump and Gray confirmed to TPM that they had not approached McCulloch’s office with any evidence that they might want the jury to see.”
.
Oh. Thanks for putting that at the bottom where I had to ready the nonsense in it’s entirety to see there is no story. ROFL!
