Shortly after the show Hannity called Colbert to thank him for his steadfast support.

The fact that Hannity thought it was appropriate discipline the time his Father “punched me in the face” shows just how warped Hannity’s thought process is.

Brilliant.

Just fucking brilliant.

Hannity’s still trying to overcome his much deserved self-loathing.

I’m sorry, “I was not mentally bruised because my father hit me with a belt,” actually just watching you do that makes it obvious how fucked-up you are Sean.

An animal that needs to be put down.

Which Colbert and Stewart do quite frequently…but Hannity continues to exist. {{{sigh}}}}

The word is vastly overused but he sure is.

I don’t know whether to be amused or horrified that my kink is once again being made into the punchline of a joke.

Especially when you consider that, aside from claiming that he wasn’t personally affected by harsh discipline, his deranged rant also provides absolution for the abusers themselves, including those in his viewership. Does hannity have any children of his own? Has he punched any of them in the face?

Nailed it.

I would bet there are a lot of people who would love to punch this asshole in the face.

Man, I’m going to miss Colbert.

Why does Colbert have to quit his show? I’m still angry with him for that.

Sean “I was not mentally bruised because my father hit me with a belt” Hannity is in need of an intervention such that some republican psych expert can sit down and 'splain to him the mental scars that can develop from beatings. Esp. beatings that can leave physical scars. That Sean remembers that his Dad beat him indicates that there may be some deep seated wounds in the dark recesses of his fevered politically driven pea brain.

“Mentally, he grew up to be a psychologically healthy adult who cleaves desperately to strong authority figures, lashes out at any perceived weakness and takes his belt off on live TV,” he said. “Still, perfectly normal.”

What you said Stephen, what you said.

What is really telling is whether you do the same to your kids. Does he punch and beat them? If not why not? Why is it not OK for him to do? Then again maybe he does do it. Either way what is telling is how you treat your own kids after having been treated this way.
