Discussion: Zero Recall: Sessions Punts Questions On Trump, Comey, Russia Probe

He’s terrified. He knows damned well he engaged repeatedly in collusion, espionage, and obstruction of justice, and he knows that he’s going to jail for it.

It’s hilarious to listen to the Republicans try to act like Russia influence in the election, and potentially with the Trump campaign and administration is no big deal. Compare that to their attitude towards Clinton and Benghazi, her email server, and her supposed bribing by Russia through the Clinton Foundation, and their hypocrisy is clearly apparent. If Clinton was president they would already have had a huge number of investigations, and possibly impeachment proceedings in motion. Instead, it’s all just the Democrats being mad that they lost, nothing to see otherwise…

Add in the shameful way they are proceeding with the “health care” bill, and the Republicans are showing the world that they value party over the country. I just hope that eventually the American people wake up and realize how little they care about America and toss them to the side.

It’s looking more and more like Trump is an illegitimate president and we’ve now moved firmly into the “andwhatchagonnadoaboutit” stage.

AG Sessions: “I’m not able to discuss with you, or confirm or deny, the nature of conversations that I may have had, or not had, with the President on this subject, or any other, which, had I had – and I’m not saying that I did or didn’t – I would not have recalled recalling, even if I were able to recall, or not recall, recalling such recollections, or lack of recollection.”

Chairman Burr: “On behalf of the entire committee, I would like to express our tremendous gratitude for your generous cooperation and important testimony today in helping restore the confidence of the American people in the transparency and integrity of this administration.”

Send the subpoena. If he refuses to answer, hold him in contempt and refer him for prosecution.

Fuck this hillbilly racist Alfred E Neuman motherfucker.

No thank you Chairperson Burr! The American people now have full confidence that the entire Trump administration is transparently lying!

With the cognitive problems displayed by Sessions today it would be cruel and inhumane to have him continue to serve as the Attorney General.

The hypocrisy here is stunning. If This were Hillary Clinton she’d be out already, even with a Democratic house.

This is the Shadow King

Is there anyone who can Photoshop Kisylak’s face on it?

Ok, so we are to believe that the ex Senator soon to be AG met with Russia top spy in a happenstance how do ya do and he “forgot” that there was an Exchange? If so ,how is he fit to shoulder such an important responsibility as enforcing our laws…?

I thought that was Kisylak.

Jeff Sessions is a trained lawyer, was obviously rehearsed for his Senate testimony, ducked every meaningful question asked of him, and it left us all with the feeling that there was more to this story than he was going to reveal.
During much of his testimony, Sessions reminded me of a deer staring at a car’s headlights. His willingness to evoke a nonexistent privilege he apparently didn’t have to avoid answering the committee specific questions made me question his credibility.
It was easy to conclude that Sessions today obstructed the investigation of the Trump/Russia scandal.

Well so much for stepping forward to put this controversy away. He definitely spoke like someone who is guilty of something as well as those above him. If he intended to perform his function to the best of reasons, he failed and left a lingering scent trail of culpability. I think even Mccain is wrinkling his nose now.

It’s one thing for the Dems on the committee to raise the “smell test” and all, and to subtly mock Sessions’ obvious lack of credibility, but it astounds me how even some of the Dems who were lawyers and prosecutors can’t think on their feet more definitively. How did none of them think to simply and clearly state (for the benefit of the public and the press as much as for Sessions), “Your answer makes no sense – if you don’t recall if a meeting even happened, then how can you claim to remember what was discussed or not discussed? First, you told us under oath that you had no meetings of any kind with Russian officials, then, after that was revealed as a lie, you corrected the record and admitted that you had two. Now, you sit here and tell us that no, actually you might have had three, but you don’t recall. Mr. AG, if you don’t recall whether you had a third meeting, then how can you turn around and tell us what you didn’t say at a meeting you’re not even admitting you had? Are you just lying to us for a third time?”

Well to Russia folks. This going on NOW.

The Senate and the way their handling thing the SECRET HEALTH CARE PLAN…
The Republicans in the Senate are acting just like Trumps segregates.
McConnell refused to give Obama his Supreme Court Judge, he wouldn’t even allow a hearing.

There are more Russianesic officials than we thought.

Some people had better wake-up real fast and get serious.

In other news, AG Jeff Sessions wins first prize in the Gollum look alike contest. Instead of answering questions, he simply went, “Gollum, gollum. gollum.”
