Discussion: You'll Never Guess Who Mitt Romney Dressed Up As For Halloween

Romney at least seems to have the ability to laugh at himself. That’s a far cry from HO.

I was never a Mitt fan (and why, by the way, did he stop trashing Trump?), but this is actually pretty good.

It would have been funnier if the number on the jersey was “47%”…but I guess that cuts too close.

I thought the pic and the comment “alter ego” was hilarious.

I’ll give him this one.

Didn’t want him as my President, would probably welcome him as a neighbor.

Never thought I’d look at Mitt Romney’s picture and say “That’s very meta” but that’s life, innit? Full of surprises.

Carrying an Etch-a-sketch would have sealed it…

Mitt Romney simply donned a blue button-down shirt and a rubber facsimile of his own face.

I thought he was doing a Herman Munster thing. Really.

That’s what I was thinking. It’s actually pretty damn funny. During the election there was all kinds of talk of, “if Mitt would just be the Mitt I know…” Looks like Mitt’s making a bit of statement that the Mitt we see is the Mitt he is. And who knew Anne fancies herself a tatted up, pink haired, hipster chick?

Phil did it better.

Yeah, until Rafalca shits all over your lawn and you’re woken up at 5:30 a.m. on a Saturday to the sound of a car elevator being constructed.

Let’s not forget that during the 2012 election, Romney begged for Trump’s endorsement, and at a time when Trump was in full Birther mode. Romney was one of many who legitimized the villain who is now the GOP’s nominee. Thanks a bunch, Mitt.

Who is Ann supposed to be? I thought it was Sarah Palin for a second. I didn’t know Mormons were allowed to celebrate Halloween.

Of course, the rest of America never stopped laughing at Mittens:

  • “I believe in an America where millions of Americans believe in an America that’s the America millions of Americans believe in.” (January 2012)
  • “I’m not familiar precisely with what I said, but I’ll stand by what I said, whatever it was.” (May 2012)
  • “Tomorrow, we begin a new tomorrow.” (November 2012)

Like I’d be in the same neighborhood! But he would be home 1/7 of the time, that would be ok.

Wow, how lucky that the costume was just the right height.
