Discussion: 'You Tell Me': Chinese Ambassador To US Wonders 'Who Is The Final Decision-Maker'

Chaos is the goal for Trump. To keep everyone, both allies and enemies, on the edge at all times, always wondering what crazy thing he might say or do next, with the only constant being his greed and corruption. This is no way to live and especially no way to run the world.

The final decision maker is Trump’s accountant…

Does that help?

Ok, lets put the erupting scandal surrounding Kevin McCarthy in a Chinese context.

Bo Xilai was one of the eight princelings headed for the top, the seven-member Permanent Standing Committee of the CPC. But then, fucking relatives…

Bo was considered a likely candidate for promotion to the elite Politburo Standing Committee in 18th Party Congress in 2012. His political fortunes came to an abrupt end following the Wang Lijun incident, in which his top lieutenant and police chief sought asylum at the American consulate in Chengdu. Wang claimed to have information about the involvement of Bo Xilai and his wife Gu Kailai in the murder of British businessman Neil Heywood, who allegedly had close financial ties to the two.

In the fallout, Bo was removed as the party chief of Chongqing and lost his seat on the Politburo. He was later stripped of all his positions and lost his seat at the National People’s Congress, and was eventually expelled from the party. In 2013, Bo was found guilty of corruption, stripped of all his assets, and sentenced to life imprisonment. He is incarcerated at Qincheng Prison.

You silly goose, the final decision maker is the last guy to talk to Trump. Everyone knows that.

Now if you want to be the last guy to talk to the toadpole you’ll have to write some checks. Not sure where to send the checks though since Cohen’s singing to every prosecutor who’ll take his calls.

Chinese ambassador: “We have an old saying in China about such disorder. We refer to it as an American fire drill.”

All the little kids who have been taking Chinese lessons here because their parents know that China will take over, please translate this phrase for me into what the Ambassador must have assuredly said next:

“We have been laughing up our sleeve at you since the election of G.W. Bush. Proceed with your own destruction.”

What is this erupting scandal of Kevin McCarthy of which you speak? Haven’t heard anything about it way up north in Alaska.

The affected bases are China Lake and Lemoore. China Lake is on Kevin’s CA-23 district, while Lemoore, I believe is on CA-21 (Valadao). Bakersfield covers both districts.

“Sometimes it can be very confusing” to determine “who is the final decision-maker” and "who is playing what role."

Haven’t heard about it on the east coast either.

“the group verifies a person’s Cherokee lineage through a process that is 90% based on family stories.” So it’s okay to use this when a Republican needs a leg up but not okay for Elizabeth Warren to base her small claim to Cherokee heritage based on the stories her family told as she was growing up? Will dotard rail against McCarthy’s brother in law as Sitting Bull at the next rally or only once he perceives the man to be a political foe?

No-bid $7 million in government contracts is quite a leg up. What is particularly galling in this instance is that these contracts are to compensate for the atrocities under Worcester v. Georgia.

Dear Mr. Ambassador:

If you have any questions, call me. To quote former President Alexander Haig, “I’m in charge here.”

Hugs and kisses,
Ivankatoinette

What’s the big deal? That Warren woman lied too. Fair is fair.

And both sides do it. Amirite?

Trump would like us to believe it’s all him.
But his midnight bedtime phone companion, Hannity, has a lot of sway with his bedtime stories.

Democrats need to run younger grass root and minority candidates with a positive agenda like Medicare for Everyone. It’s a waste of our media coverage to spend all our efforts talking about what Trump and the Republicans are doing. It’s common knowledge that they are regressive, corrupt people. Some things are self evident, after all.

We need to nominate people that younger more diverse Americans can identify with, so they will get out and vote for them. It’s time to pass the torch. Actually, it’s been time to do that since the 2000 election. But we can make up for lost time by acknowledging what we’ve done wrong and righting it.

The better economy is ripe for fielding younger candidates. As voters feel more secure, they are more willing to take risks if they feel the programs we are advocating will help them in the future. Biden, Warren and Bernie should be promoting candidates who can get out the vote now and in the future. It’s time for the system to step back and allow new leaders to rise.
