A subpoena may be in order. Gosh. I never knew the NRA was so nice until now.

We all want answers…too bad we have to rely on the seemingly toothless Senate to get them… maybe Muellar will come through

Go Wyden!

At the very least he’s laying some nice “dig here” signs for Mueller.

The FBI is reportedly probing whether Torshin illegally funneled money to the NRA to help Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign.

From the Dem and general gun control POV, this point makes sense, but it is not the first and foremost goal, which is to tie the hands of the NRA behind their back with their own Russian rope. Russia has declared themselves to be an enemy state, and the NRA is colluding with that enemy state against the majority interests of the people of the United States. Whether they broke the law or not is irrelevant. What matters is that they are a part of the operations of an enemy state.

I’m a member of the NRA and I vote. Oh yeah, and I support Russian organized crime.

anyone else notice that most of the screeds coming out of the NRA lately aren’t even about guns any more? They target the ‘left’, the press, the universities, the ‘elites’. Sure seems to be designed to whip up a frenzy and cause domestic strife. Sounds kind of like the purported goals of the Russia social media propaganda campaign, no?

Face to face meetings are the best way for the NRA to get its marching orders from the Russian oligarchs who “donate”.

"In the picture, Torshin is wearing a button that says “I’m NRA, and I Voted.”
If this was anyone else, Fox News would be shouting about this was proof of non-citizens voting.

Exactly. The NRA just spouts divisive hate filled rhetoric to foment further chaos in America. Such an approach also assists in gun sales to the nut jobs who still buy the NRA line.

My thoughts, exactly.

The NRA is dirty – part and parcel of the Russian attempt to suborn and weaken America – and Wyden needs to keep pounding at this until the Democrats (bog willing) take over the Senate so he can lead a committee to subpoena NRA leadership for grilling.

The toothless R-held Senate could investigate. But no.

Yep. They are terrified.

The curtain is open and people are beginning to notice.

[/quote]B…b…but, President Trump said the leaders of the NRA are Patriots, really great people. You seem to be suggesting that they’re, uh…damn, what’s that word? Oh yeah, traitors. And colluders, conspirators, connivers, and not so really great people.

We have to take back the Senate for that to happen. Hell will freeze over before Boss LaPierre is held accountable by Congress as long as Republicans run it.

It’s going to be hard but we have to do it.

Just keep saying: Losing is not an option and do everything you can.

That’s the way I look at regaining the Senate.

I’ll wager Mueller has a say in NRA’s l’affaire Russia before Senate gets a crack at it.
