Discussion: WSJ: Whitaker Fudged Academic Honors On Resume, Gov Documents

Fake attorney general Whitaker is a Trump flunky and grifter who lies, steals, and falsifies his resume. No wonder Trump likes him.

Is anyone here surprised to hear about this…?

Thought not.

1.Of course he did.

  1. Lying on your resume is an excellent non-partisan reason for immediately shit-canning someone. The WH has been handed a solution to a self-made problem on a platter. Does Mulvaney have the brains to use it?

Who thinks Trump cares about anything other than using (and later disgarding) Whitaker to kill or impede the Mueller investigation? Why would a liar and crook like Trump care that Whitaker is dishonest?

Please, DOJ Spokespeople - I expect a higher quality of lies.

Whitaker had relied on a 1993 media guide for University of Iowa football, which caused him to make the error.

If I had received any awards in college, I would remember them without needing to look at a media guide.

On the same day we find out Trump faked his bone spurs, we find out his acting AG lied about academic honors. These are the heads of our nation’s law enforcement agencies, ladies and gentlemen.

These people lie about things that aren’t worth lying about. Like these overweight Thai Bhuddist Monks lying about their robe sizes.

exercise was “complicated” for monks but “not impossible”.

That’s probably also a lie. Lukewarm tub… at best.

Did they?

This is the kind of shit that can prevent you from passing character and fitness on the bar exam, and stop you from becoming a first year attorney. Literally they are like “lying and stealing money” are the two major things that can keep someone out of the practice of law.

Cue production of the 1993 University of Iowa Football Media Guide.

Lying on a resume submitted to a scam-a-lot outfit. How weak are your credentials, man?

And this golden nugget: “Acting Attorney General and former hot tub salesman Matthew Whitaker…” should be the beginning of every story about this guy. Until (hopefully soon) it’s just “Former hot tub salesman and indicted scam artist and Trump co-conspirator Matthew Whitaker…”

Whitaker had relied on a 1993 media guide for University of Iowa football, which caused him to make the error.

Can you believe how aggressive those infamous media guides have become? Causing another forced error like that. There should be a law preventing rogue media guides from creating so much confusion. Poor Mr. Whitaker was led to falsely claim “American All-Star” status, all because of a radical media guide…!

MAGA! “Make Athletic Guides Accountable”!

That’s not actually an academic honor. He’s merely exaggerating his performance in college football. I realize that’s still a lie, but it’s not quite the same as saying he received a degree or academic honor that he didn’t really receive.

Whittaker was immediately pilloried as un-qualified to head the agency, and questions have been raised in court about the legality of his appointment.

If the WH does anything other than ditch him when gifted this clean, uncontroversial reason to do so (“he lied to us, we’re shocked, shocked”), it underscores the corrupt purpose behind his appointment. Possibly in letters so large even the TV pundits can read them.

A Justice Department spokeswoman told WSJ that Whitaker had relied on a 1993 media guide for University of Iowa football, which caused him to make the error.

So he was either too dumb to know he hadn’t made it, or was just “smart” enough to try and use the error to his advantage.

I dunno how hard did the WSJ searched, but I can tell you, that face is not associated with any kind of academic honors.
