Discussion: WSJ: Prosecutors Granted Immunity To Tabloid Publisher In Cohen Probe

The scope of the disloyalty is positively criminal! Guess Pecker’s also being forced to make up stories about Trump, just to get a deal. Heh.

That’s sort of sad. I’d like to cage this little bird. But there are bigger, more critical targets.

tRump’s favorite pecker turns on him. Sad.

I’m interested in the timing and sequence of events here. Since AMI is reported to have influenced Cohen to seek a plea deal, it would appear that Pecker was offered immunity somewhat early on. Why? The feds have more than enough to pin Cohen, so I presume Pecker’s offer of immunity must be for some bigger fish, which means Spanky hisself is the likely target here…right?

So what might Pecker have on Spanky that’s so juicy and so otherwise not available to the feds that he’d be offered immunity? Thoughts?

I should think that being called pecker all his life is punishment enough. Pecker by name, Pecker by nature.

Does this mean no more NE articles praising TrumP?

(Get a grip, you fool!)

Many people are saying that Trump turning his pecker every which was was what got him into this mess!

What’s that old saw about “with friends like that…”??

(Oh, yeah, and with Pecker, it is again true that nomen est omen!)

SDNY Deputy Attorney Khuzami: “Hi, yeah, we have strong evidence that a wealthy publisher violated campaign finance laws at the behest of the now-President?”
Mueller: “Sounds like a prosecutable offense. You should move forward. Let me know if it ends up relating to our investigations. By the way, who is this guy?”
Khuzami: “A uhmm … Pecker. David Pecker.”
Mueller: …
Mueller: “Pecker? … Did you say Pecker?”
Khuzami: “Yes, sir. Pecker.”
Mueller: …
Mueller: “I think he has suffered enough.”

It’s difficult see Trump avoiding a deposition on payments to porn stars if Clinton could not do so on allegations of a personal assignation.

See USSC Clinton v. Jones, 520 U.S. 681 (1997).

Clearly, Pecker has evidence that Clinton orchestrated Uranium One to hide ACORN’s private server, which provides a trail of international trade in fetal body parts, established to fund the Benghazi cover-up, which was staged to kill witnesses to the murder of Vince Foster, whose body was hidden in the basement of Comet Pizza, because he learned about the insider trading on cattle futures after Hillary gave birth to the alien baby at the Mena airport.

Rudy’s this close to blowing the lid off…

My read of the sequence is:

  1. Significant evidence implicating Pecker/AMI is found during the Cohen investigation.
  2. Faced with knowledge that said evidence has been uncovered, Pecker seeks a plea deal. “Bigger fish” is Cohen, implicated in a long stream of tax fraud, money laundering, and knowing campaign finance malfeasance, “smaller fish” is Pecker, implicated “only” in campaign finance malfeasance.
  3. Faced with account / testimony of Pecker and overwhelming evidence, Cohen pleads guilty.
  4. Perhaps seeking vengeance, perhaps a plea deal (although you’d think that would have been bundled with his guilty plea), Cohen starts offering goods on Pres Trump.
  5. Pres Trump starts World War III to distract press from his implosion.

I left that out, but it’s been widely reported, so Yes, agreed.

Nah…don’t think so…

…because Cohen’s “deal” looks more like surrender than any sort of deal and overwhelming evidence makes immunity for Pecker redundant. Feds didn’t just make a deal, they offered him immunity. That doesn’t add up. Pecker’s a longtime cohort of Spanky…so something in that relationship still looks more likely to me.

Ok. His name is Pecker.

Oh my, how appropriate.

Now we know why Cohen’s lawyer was making all that noise yesterday. It really does look like Mueller doesn’t need Cohen

Whoa. Sessions jumps into the fray. That ought to burn Trump but good.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions pushed back forcefully Thursday against fresh criticism from President Trump, saying the Justice Department would not be “improperly influenced by political considerations.”

Spanky and his Pecker. May that sobriquet find its way into the history books.

One thing to remember immunity isn’t always a good thing for someone. If I see a crime while hiring a prostitute and cheating on my wife, I can claim the 5th to not talk about any of it. If the government forces (aka “grants”) immunity to me for the soliciting then I have to admit on the record that I am cheating on my wife with prostitutes. Immunity won’t protect me from my wife using it to divorce me or everyone knowing about it.
This very well could have been forced on him.
Either way no sympathy for any of these scum bags being outed as scum bags…
