I don’t recall the FBI “wringing its hands” when it decided, at the 11th hour, to revisit Hillary’s emails.

gregangelo, I was in the process of writing the same thing!

ETA: this whole house of cards may well take down Comey with it when the big fold comes…

Well! If Paul “Finger in the Wind” Ryan said Sessions should recuse himself, he does have some problems.

While it’s true the director of the FBI is apparently in Putin’s pocket, individual agents in the field may have indeed agonized, the more so because they knew Comey would protect Sessions.

Director Comey did an exhaustive search of Hillary’s email server, and could find absolutely nothing to implicate AG Sessions.

Shortest argument for Sessions’ resignation:

Sessions is a person of interest to the FBI, CIA, DOJ, and Congressional intelligence committees. Totally untenable position for an A-G.

Oh, puh-LEEZ let it be so.

Comey is in on it. He had his price, and the Russians probably paid it.

Does anyone know if the US has an extradition policy with Russia?

For when the whole Drumpf Klan flees en masse for Mother Russia?

In other Civil War news…

Paul blocked from seizing GOP Obamacare bill

Did this “investigation” check into why the party platform was changed in Russia’s favor re:Ukraine? Or was Sessions meeting with the ambassador at the convention just a “Thank you?”

Oh my goodness. They’re imposing the secrecy they falsely attributed to the Obamacare process. Now even Rand is frustrated and a guy from NY implies that Albany would hesitate to be so secretive. A new low for DC!

The FBI can always send out Comey to ‘chastize’ Sessions…he did it to Hillary.

Never mind, the whole issue has been fully cleared up, with AG Sessions fully exonerated.

paulie very deftly used ‘would’ not should. which sounds like he’s hoping for it to happen. a little bit more moral force with ‘should’

“If he himself is the subject of an investigation, of course he would” recuse himself Ryan said, responding to a reporter. “But if he’s not, I don’t see any purpose or reason to doing this.”

Yes, if he was a spy they would certainly be quick to tell us.

Speaker Ryan has assumed his usual position on these kinds of issues.

If that were to happen, I would begin to believe that there really is some justice in this world.
