Well, not surprising. The question i have is when Pecker and Co are indicted for criminal campaign fraud and money laundering, is Trump listed as an un-indicted co-conspirator?

I love how paying an adult film actress is a bridge too far for David Pecker, y’know because journalistic integrity and all that.
It was Pecker who called off an agreement discussed by Cohen and Trump to buy the rights to McDougal story from AMI, the Journal reported. Pecker, who was advised by his attorney not to go through with the deal, told Cohen to tear up the agreement, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Mr. Pecker told Mr. Cohen to tear up the reimbursement agreement, but Mr. Cohen kept a copy. Federal agents found it in a search of Mr. Cohen’s office earlier this year.
These guys are like the Keystone cops. If you are going to break the law, just break it. If they hadn’t welched on the payments, McDougall and Daniels would have been quiet and none of this might have out. as it is they are culpable, and the whole story is out for everyone to see. One more example as to how criminals get caught - they are too stupid to get away with it.
That goes double for Trump himself. This story that "I didn’t know Whitaker (was such a partisan hack) is laughable - of course he knew. He wanted a young Roy Cohn as AG. There was just this one little detail…the Constitution. If Trump is such an offing genius, why didn’t he get Whitaker confirm as the Rachel Brand replacement (Assistant AG ?) before Whitaker opened his big mouth on Mueller ? he could have slipped him into Sessions job with no legal issues…but NO he had to do it half-_____ and now it bites him. Trump is a comic genius, but legal / business / ANYTHING else is just beyond his pee-sized brain.
That’s NOT going to happen until corporations can no longer buy politicians. Period. Until politicians must respond to the voter and ONLY the voter, they’ll do whatever their sugar daddy says.

But seriously, what are we looking at here? Obviously, campaign finance violations (a steel trap with teeth, that one), wire fraud? Tax evasion? Are these state statutes (thus non-pardonable offenses)? Any of our lawyers care to expatiate?
