Discussion: Woodward: Dowd Told Trump He Couldn’t Testify To Mueller, Calling Him ‘Disabled’

Dowd:

“fitted for an orange jumpsuit” if he testified.
“‘You can’t testify. You- you are disabled.’
‘And you can’t testify because you can’t tell the truth. You just make things up!’”

Yet the feckless GOP does nothing. We are doomed

You can’t testify. You- you are disabled.

See, this is why attorneys make the big bucks.

“And you can’t testify because you can’t tell the truth. You just make things up!”

And now, let’s welcome our next contestant here on Mastermind, John Dowd, who’s special subject is “The Clearly Obvious”.

agree with Colbert- the lede was buried
but buried with an avalanche of illustrations

Though I have for decades had huge questions about Woodward’s star-fucking credulous “reporting,” I believe him when he depicts a Trump WH full of half-bright half-talented bozos, led by the Bozo-in-Chief.

They’ve spent 50 years dumbing down the “base” and now that they have a pResident who is the epitome of stupid, they have to stick with him. Besides, he gives them the good things they want.

And the stupids have no idea those good things are inimical to their interests.

“Dowd knew he couldn’t bring himself to say to the President, ‘You’re a fucking liar.’”

Another moment of moral turpitude by those surrounding Donnie Two-scoops. If Dowd knew he was quitting the next morning, there was absolutely no reason not to tell Skanky Manslut that he can’t testify because he is a fucking liar.

Sure, he might have been fired on the spot, but he was quitting the next morning. Sure, he wouldn’t get a ‘good recommendation’ (whatever that might mean and be worth from this mis-maladministration). But at that level you’ve already made your professional bed – John Dowd doesn’t need a recommendation from Skanky.

Correction: the feckless stupid voters keep voting the feckless GOP back into office because god, guns, Merica, taxes and those damn foreigners.

Let’s blame the right people.

Speaking of disabled, just reading his tweets this morning is like a stream of lies. And this is the guy “running” the US. W.T.F?

Colbert is right: Woodward buried the lede. And in all the summaries of the book provided by the media no one bothered to mention that his lawyer said Trump was disabled and a fucking liar?? Or did the reviewers just not read to the end?

No we are not. Voting is the most powerful tool available. We must take responsibility and vote these crooks out of office. I don’t take our right to vote for granted. Use it or lose it.

Hmm. As trump’s personal lawyer, did Dowd still have a duty to report a 25th amendment issue to the cabinet? Not that they would have done anything.

Voting is really the only effective tool available.

We can write our Congresscritter until the labels wear off our keyboard, or we get permanent writers’ cramp (yes, I hand wrote one letter to my feckless Republican critter) and the messages will be taken under advisement (and ignored). Voting the GOP bastards out of office is the only tool that will work.

Most importantly that’s the god that hates gays and abortions. By the way where did Jesus discuss those topics, or the other ones for that matter?

Dowd: “Sir, you are disabled!”
Trump: “I’d like a second opinion.”
Dowd: “You’re a corpulent fornicator, too.”
