Whoa. So the mother goes to jail, but the boyfriend doesnât?
Ridinâ dirty.
Is there any way we could send Lapierre on the next Mars expedition?
Ah, the wonders of the second amendment and âresponsibleâ gun owners. Guns do kill!
Guns
So easy to operate that a childâs backpack can kill/wound with it.
How does a gun âgo offâ inside a backpack? Did the kid drop it? Or is there more than meets the eye here?
Like robots in disguise?
The mom didnât realize a well-regulated militia could be so well. ⌠unregulated and messy.
The American concept of protection in practice.
But did anyone do anything about the little boy who was afraid of his classmates? Why was he afraid of them, or was it really the boyfriend he was afraid of?
Or did his criminally stupid elders tell him that he should be afraid of everybody and that guns were his only protection?
The gun was loaded. If the backpack was loaded enough and you were moving stuff around in it, I can see where the trigger might get pulled.
If we outlaw guns in backpacks, only backpacks will be gun outlaws!
Or something.
Bullies are still common.
I was a plain clothes officer for thirty years, carried revolvers and automatics the entire time usually in back-backs, fanny packs and man purses of all sorts and never had an accidental discharge. I donât know for certain how stupid these folks are, and I donât know what they are doing to have so many problems, but they sure as hell ought to put their little toy guns away before anymore folks are maimed or killed. I should also add I have the legal right to carry in every state in the country concealed, but I have not carried one day since retirement as I do not walk around in fear of anyone except tea party folks; because of their accidental discharges. If I see a group of young tea party types coming down the sidewalk I always switch to the other side of the road out of fear for my life from some felony stupid act.
So the kid was not considered a good guy with a gun?
According to what I read the boyfriend is the ine who belongs in jail, not the mom. This is a miscarriage of justice.
Oh, youâll hafta ask Wayne LaPierre for his take on this one.
They very well may have, however to 9 years old and be afraid is really sad in this day and age. 9 isnât very big or old.
