Discussion: Witnesses: Trump Jr., Kushner Irked By Lack Of Clinton Dirt In Trump Tower Meeting

Made me smile, though.

BTW, I bet Jr. doesn’t know what “irk” means…

This story sounds an awful lot like the original story put out by the Trump people but with more details. “Just a friendly meeting about orphans.” (We’re supposed to believe this with Manafort in the room.) The only mild change is more emphasis on the idea that Jr and Kushner are both pouting and are both put off by the Russian woman making her presentation.

Then again, maybe the story being peddled here is accurate: that the Trumps and their circle are idiots who take meetings without vetting the person they’re supposed to meet.

Of course, there are the contradictions. The Trump are raking in money while in the White House, which suggests they’re not total idiots. Why, it’s even plausible that they KNOW they’re a bunch of crooks.

Yes, dirt… a medium in which they are completely at home…

Pissy little Jared or prissy little Jared? Either way, I’ll bet he stomped out of the meeting.

Cesare was THREE TIMES the dude those two are. He would’ve slit their throats and then made ‘advances’ on their wives.

They all seem very honest and i’m sure we got the whole truth this time even though it sounds like complete and total bs !

Quoth the orange from earlier today, and not a leak, but with reporters in the room. He was talking about immigrants when it actually applies to his family.

“You wouldn’t believe how bad these people are. These aren’t people, these are animals, and we’re taking them out of the country at a level and at a rate that’s never happened before.”

The point! This event shows that the Trumps were not only sufficiently corrupt to collude with the Russians, but that they also believed that Clinton was corrupt, as well (isn’t everybody?). They probably left the meeting just believing that the Russians hand’t yet found the pot of gold at the (supposed) putrid end of the Clinton rainbow (despite decades of republicans looking for exactly that).

Do you ever flash on The Children Of The Corn by Maine’s own Stephen King?

I forgot about that quote.

“It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his salary depends on his not understanding it.”

We see it all the time when pols are cornered and asked why they voted on something or didn’t, why they’re supporting something or other, and they go into this automatic mode, giving the same robotic response no matter how the question is phrased and rephrased by that pesky reporter…

I wonder if his voice turns really shrill and tinny when he’s mad? Oh, wait…

And yet somehow it seems they’ll all just walk except the losers who tried to help them.
The entire Trump family should be Romanoffed.

yeow!!!
gave me chills up the spine. lol lol
