Discussion: Without Naming Trump, Ryan Says There's 'No Doubt' Russia Interfered In Election

Ryan:

did “not” agree with former CIA Director John Brennan’s assessment that Trump’s press conference was “treasonous"

Of course not because then you would have to do your job.

For F’s sake, Paul, grow an f’ing spine. You’re not even running again.

History will not remember you or the Turtle kindly.

Yeah, we didn’t expect anything other than weaseling. I’m surprised he’s still touting the interference line – I expect in 48 hours at the latest he’ll have given up on that too.

Paul… what is it you’d say you do here?

PUSSY refuses to say WHAT?

Ryans gonna Ryan. If he acknowledges objective reality occasionally he actually stands out from the worst of the worst. I don’t wish to muddy things up, though. He’s the worst of the worst in a different way.

" I seem to have gotten the crabs " …

" It’s hard to tell how or where I got them " …

" I’ve got so much going on … maybe I’ll deal with it later " —

So what exactly is it gonna take for these craven traitors to admit what’s plain to the world? Is it gonna have to be a Donald-Vlad fellatio video? Is there anything they won’t defend?

It’s also clear that it didn’t have a material effect on our elections.”

What proof does he have? I am beginning to question this sentence.

Ryan continued. “They did interfere in our elections, it’s really clear. There should be no doubt about that. It’s also clear that it didn’t have a material effect on our elections.”

"It’s also clear that it didn’t have a material effect on our elections.”

Why is this constantly asserted? Has anyone done a definitive assessment of the effects on the electorate of Russian social media manipulations and propaganda? Do we know for sure, with absolute positivity, none of their hacks into local precinct or state voter data bases were benign as to affecting the tallying of votes? Do we know how many people were turned away from the polls as the result of rumored Russian shenanigans in the registration rolls?

Just what in the hell has everyone so sure the election outcome wasn't affected by the totality of all the Russian efforts to interfere?

No doubt! They’re confidently touting the results of an experiment without a control.

Ryan and McConnell aren’t going to do anything. Trump still runs the show. This is bad for the country short-term, but not long-term.

Trump showed himself to be a Putin stooge. Everyone knows it now. Democrats don’t have to worry about defending Mueller’s investigation to the voters. They can just run the Putin tape.

That’s the GOP line. By saying that they say it doesn’t really matter. First, of course, it does matter, and second, it most likely did tip the election in key places.

No one will confuse this pussy with the members of the Pussy Riot.

What a flaccid leader.

In his retirement rAyn will return to his job driving the weenie mobile. But, because he hasn’t shown that he can be trusted with large responsibility, he will only get the keys to the cocktail weenie mobile. (There is one. I saw it in Madison a couple years ago)

Unfortunately, you don’t know Mitch McConnell. NOTHING will stop him here. The good news is that the red state Democrats have plenty of “cover,” and if they vote for Kavanaugh, then screw them.
