The mayor has the most unfortunate name of Sadiq Khan. In order to get in Trump’s good graces, if you are not a ruthless dictator, you should change your name to ā€œTrump.ā€ And in Sadiq’s case, he must lose that first name for ā€œEricā€ or ā€œDonaldā€ too… (edit) or at the very least he needs to start tweeting pithy and marginally coherent inanities.

The question is:

Why is the President of the United States (DBOTUS) trying to destabilize the leadership of London?

It used to be ā€œthe whole world is laughingā€ at Donnie.

Now the whole world just loathes Donnie…

ā€œā€¦London Mayor Sadiq Khanā€¦ā€

Democrats cannot even bring themselves to use the phrase ā€œRadical Muslim-y Namesā€.

Sad!

Is there such a thing as an election ā€œdo-overā€?

One is sorely, orangely needed…

An election Comb-over perhaps.

She’s not a coward, she’s just issuing her F-Yous to President Trump in the way the British politicians, talented British politicians, do. She isn’t giving him a handle to grab onto, she’s just calling him out as an idiot by clearly indicating he’s wrong.

If she said ā€œPresident Trump is an idiotā€ he’d have permission to hit back, and take the last word. As she’s done it the best he can do is take a cheap shot at her directly to try and start a dialogue. Her response if she’s smart will be the same as it is right now – don’t give him an excuse to go after her or anyone else.

You know what President Trump fears the most? A day when no one talks about him. That’s his worst nightmare. PM May is just doing her part.

I don’t know - she’s facing some criticism (albeit from people like me on the left of British policies) because of her failure to stand up for Khan. He’s from a different political party than Ms May, true, but she had to be badgered into expressing her support for Khan. Who, let’s remember, is a moderate mayor of a city that’s just been attacked twice and whose words have been selectively excerpted by the leader of the free world because he is stupid/was bored.

Ms May’s verbal tics (ā€œI’m very clearā€ etc) are getting mocked in the UK too, because she’s anything but clear in her canned responses to everything.

Indeed, what is it about a son of a Pakistani bus driver, from a left-wing party, called Sadiq Khan that annoys Donald Trump, so?

Being Trump’s poodle isn’t going to be helpful with voters on Thursday.

Although May might be a scheming liar who is running her country into the ground for political advantage, note at least that she is capable of giving a detailed rundown of exactly how emergency coordination is happening between the the national and metropolitan forces. Compare to the current and previous republican presidents.

I’d like to think that has something to do with this:

Donald Trump is a bloated man-child stabbing at the keys of his phone, tweeting out BS and nonsense. There Ms. May. THERE’S your ā€˜statement’.
