Discussion: Wisconsin Candidates For Governor Spar Over Economy In Debate

Discussion for article #228990

Yikes!

While this article is dated today it details the 1st debate that was held last week (10/10) when Mary Burke was behind by 5 pts. The 2nd debate was held last night (10/17). At this time, Burke and Walker are tied in the latest polls.

You beat me to it. TPM screwed up making it appear this debate happened last night. Facts matter!

Walker promised 250K new jobs when he was elected. 92K is what WI got. Not even close.

In fairness, the correct AP article from this debate is nearly identical to the first one anyway. It looks like the writer just took the text and replaced a few things.

Fair enough about the date of debate, but info kind of new to me. Maybe Mary Burke should have said she admires that the Koch candidate drives a Saturn and has the same brown bag lunch every day, lord knows that’s important. I think the fact she could not think of somthing admirable about Walker is no slip up.

Thanks, OBAMA!

Walker is human filth plain and simple. If a state with the traditions Wisconsin has votes in garbage like this AGAIN I fear for our country. By the time Wisconsin wakes up from this sack of dung their civic institutions will be irrevocable damaged for at least a generation. God save Wisconsin.
