Discussion for article #238219

So…they admit to chicanery.
(giggle)
Pop corn and beer on tap.
Walker’s campaign is imploding before it starts.

“. Among other things, the proposal would have removed communications and
other legislative records from under the scope of the state’s
government transparency law, and would have allowed lawmakers to refuse
to disclose certain documents in public record requests.”

What other chicanery is hidden in the “other things”?

To quote Poppy Bush, “Wouldn’t seem prudent” for a presidential wannabee to be suppressing public access to government records. Makes him seem pretty sketchy. But I’m sure the GOP partisans who constantly whine about Obama and “transparency” will be just fine with it.

“GOP Leader Admits Scott Walker’s Office Involved In Attack On Open Records Law.”

Open records…open records…where do I remember something about Scott Walker and open records?

“Hillary Clinton’s potential evasion of laws is something she should answer questions about. Wisconsin has a strong open records law with a broad presumption of access to records and the governor has very specific policies in place in his office to assure that the laws are complied with fully.” – Kirsten Kukowski, spokeswoman for Walker’s political action committee, Our American Revival.

The state’s leading scumbag was involved in this high-level scumbaggery. Gosh what a surprise.

I remember that!!!

What a dipshit. Conniving little dipshit. Remember, folks, Walker is the man the Kochs and their ilk want running things for all of us.

Whose post are you referring to may I ask?

The one about Lamont Cranston, probably, maybe, I think. I too recall the old time radio shows, for the most part much better than modern ‘radio’. Podcasts are thankfully filling the role that early radio used to play.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Slippery Scott Walker tries to take play hero and credit for catching this before it became law, as if his fingerprints aren’t on it.

Hi Chammy. My post is possessed. It showed up twice and it didn’t put in who I was replying to.

It was Irasdad.

chammy, I’ve noticed that whenever I see a comment that’s clearly a reply but there’s no avatar showing which comment it’s replying to, it’s pretty much always the comment just above the reply. (Just one more “improvement” to the comment system…)

After much analysis and soul searching I have come to the inescapable conclusion that Walker and his entire administration is a performance art project from the Wisconsin Republican Party using articulated mannequins made of manure. This will open up an entire avenue for the exploitation of Wisconsin’s largest resource. Quite clever actually.
