He gets things wrong because being right or correct has no meaning or value for right wing “journalists” , bloggers or media. In fact failure is rewarded. Will he lose his job and not be hired again? No. People can spend years in jail and have their own talk shows (Gordon Liddy), Our media is full of liars and hate filled worthless personalities, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity and numerous others. When propagating lies and hate leads to fabulous wealth, then what incentive is there to tell the truth? This guy is a mediocre writer and has no interest in the truth. His agenda is to stir up hatred against liberals and for that he is rewarded time and time again. Any more “mistakes” like this and he may just get his own show on FOX.

Because he is right wing hack posing as a journalist in order to score political/ideological points, not an actual journalist in it to find the truth. It really isn’t complicated.

This guy represents the kind of monster that “social media” is capable of producing. He’s a tabloid style hack who tries to insert himself in to the latest headlines by staking out the most despicable position possible and then plays the martyr when he gets called out on his despicable-ness.
His style of “journalism” is basically performing Google searches or giving “bounties” to have others perform the same searches to find items that feed his narrative. Then he’ll re-hash, re-brand them as BREAKING news on his website. He’s also been prone to placing copyrighted photos within these stories and placing his site’s watermark on them; I guess he thinks this somehow protects him from DMCA action?
He has no qualm with publishing personal information about his “targets”, but is so thin-skinned that he’ll threaten lawsuit against anyone who he feels has slighted him. Usually it’s a threat against other publications that run pieces about him. But I’ve got to hand it to him, all his nonsense has helped him keep attention, as evidenced by all the articles written about him, including this TPM article.

there is a “secret” chris mcdaniel facebook group and this guy is always in there asking those sods for money for his “investigations” and he also asks to crash on their couch when he is in mississippi doing his “investigating”. it’s quite entertaining to follow.
