At this point that would be the correct course of action.
Kavanaugh may have engaged in criminal behavior. Unlike the case with presidents, impeachment is not the sole remedy for criminal judges.
This is good. This has promise and, once the House is in hand I sincerely hope to see hearings. If the screaming mimis yesterday turned enough people in their right minds off and we get the Senate, weāre good to go.

So underlying what was released of Kavanaughās background check by the FBI is how far back did they go and who did they interview from Kavās past? Either they found no record of his heavy alcohol use in prep school or at Yale or maybe they did and that information was kept under wraps by the DOJ people who solicited the FBI to do the background. Or it was the New York field office of the FBI that did the backgrounder and then sat on any negative info about Kav just as they sat on the Steele dossier for many weeks. How thorough was the FBI investigation is at the heart of this entire charade.
Since cover ups donāt last this one will unravel after Kavanaugh is on the bench. So, the only logical conclusion would be an attempt to impeach him and remove him. But even in a Dem Congress that would be a very very very tall and politically expensive order.

This could be better, to uncover a lie or two or ten he told in the hearings. Thatās criminal and the penalty, I should think, will at least be his removal from scotus, maybe more.
The testimony was under oath. Kav said he did not watch any of Dr Fordās testimony yet he was seen watching the early part of her delivery while in Penceās capitol Hill officeā¦ That then would be a felony lie that he told. It would be interesting if some staffer had taken a picture if him watching Dr Fordā¦
