The internet has provided us all with a smorgasbord of statistics and studies, as well as evidence at how easily it is to use that information to prove any philosophy or support an ideology, many times without merit. Just look at how easily the pro gun lobby can throw out numbers showing it is more dangerous to tie your shoes than own a gun.
Sadly that is what many of the radical sites and groups do, they pick and choose and then the vulnerable and troubled person finds something that looks legitimate, that is canned and explains to them exactly what they want to hear. (look at the conservative evangelicals following their religion) This can all be accomplished without the bothersome activity of questioning, thinking and looking at different sides of the issues.

So let me get this straight. These creeps scream bigotry and racial hatred, and post alleged statistics to show their right to indignation and outrage. Then someone comes along and takes the bait. But they never break the law.
That’s just like the tricks I used to play on my brother to get him in trouble: Show him the cookies, tell him how to get to them, tell him how good they were, then walk away. I thought that stuff quit working when I turned 9 !

You know who else has legitimate grievances? From the latest issue of Harpers:
“From summaries of police-brutality cases recently settled by the city of Baltimore. An investigation conducted last year by the Baltimore Sun found that police-misconduct settlements have cost the city nearly $6 million since 2011. Compiled by Ryann Liebenthal and Shayla Love.” The rest is behid a pay wall, but, is pretty chilling reading.
