Government shutdown are always GOP temper tantrums, and the voters get hornery very quickly. They know by now who’s in charge of slamming the government shut, Republicans. I don’t think the GOP has the balls to pull a stunt like this 6 weeks prior to an election, but we shall see.

Just about every person in their right mind acknowledges that there is climate change and it’s caused by us humans. Of course, that excludes congresscritters who are beholding to the Koch’s and other polluters.
For goodness sakes, the corporatists in W. VA recently polluted the drinking water of over 300,000 US citizens. If that same thing had been done by Islamic Extremists we’d have wall-to-wall coverage on FOX about it and invaded another innocent country by now.

Government shutdown in an election year. I guess that’s one way to goose midterm turnout.
As an American, I find the government shutdown grossly irresponsible and hope they find some way to avoid it. As a partisan, I’d love for the GOP to shut down the government during the height of campaign season. I think the GOP won’t care about the former, but surely even they can figure out the latter, right?
