Discussion: White House Tries To Dial Back Trump's Call For Senate To Investigate Media

"She then went on to complain about the lack of positive news coverage of the administration and listed all the positive moves Trump has made since entering the White House, claiming those are the things Americans want to hear about.

If the Las Vegas shooter is still an ā€œalleged shooter,ā€ I think her list has to be ā€œalleged positive moves.ā€

If she had actually ā€œlisted all the positive movesā€ he has made, it would be a non-list.

So we need a Spider Man First Amendment?
With great freedom comes great responsibility.

And we need to report on the things that Trump wants us to report on, but other than that heā€™s an ā€˜incredible advocateā€™ for freedom of the press.

ā€œI donā€™t know that thatā€™s the case,ā€ she said. ā€œBut I do think that we should call on all media to a higher standard. ā€¦ I think you have a lot of responsibility and a lot of times false narratives create a bad environment, certainly arenā€™t helpful to the American people and you have a responsibility to provide and report fair and accurate details. When we donā€™t, thatā€™s I think, troubling for all of us.ā€

So says one of the biggest liars of my lifetime.

Why Isnā€™t the Senate Intel Committee looking into the Fake News Networks in OUR country to see why so much of our news is just made up-FAKE!

Iā€™m actually not opposed to this and suggest we start with proven disseminator of fake news, Alex Jones.

When asked if Trump values the First Amendment, she said the President is an ā€œincredible advocateā€ of the freedom of the press, but said ā€œwith those freedoms also come responsibilities.ā€

Why donā€™t they ever say this about the Second Amendment?

Can you imagine the DC Villagersā€™ reaction if Josh Earnest had said this?

:joy:

Yes actually I can imagine it.

They would have filed Articles of Impeachment 10 times over already.

Here we go again. Didnā€™t Trump tell us he tweets so that he can get his real message past the ā€œfailing NY Timesā€ and the ā€œfake mediaā€? Why doesnā€™t Sarah Lee let that real message through?

Ask her about this. Seems pertinent.

Iā€™m surprised not one journalist asked the mouthpiece behind the podium if Info Wars, Breitbart, Fox New, Gateway Pundit, Town Hall and a host of other ā€œnewsā€ sites deal in fake news. Sarah is not a spokesman for the administration rather she was hired to hand out cookies to the trolls.

What a steaming pile of bullshit she serves up in the name of ā€œdialing backā€ the tweet of our Preznit Crazy Old Man Who Yells at Clouds.

So Iā€™d like to know what exactly they are considering as ā€˜all the positive movesā€™ has made. Specific examples, not glittering generalities, please.

Iā€™d like to hear about these moves and see if theyā€™re something, first, that actually happened and, second, do I care about.

The palace intrigue weā€™re hearing about, whether positive or not, is of his own making. Donā€™t blame the media for reporting on whatā€™s happening, when it can be openly demonstrated that itā€™s actually occurred or can be proven with hard evidence (like the huge inauguration crowds) that it didnā€™t happen.

Wouldnā€™t surprise me if she didnā€™t take questions after that passel of dung.

Hereā€™s a suggestion for Huckabee; how about trump setting the standard of coverage he wants to receive?
That means he needs to stop with the lies and admit his wrongdoing.
Lets start with him being wrong about the Central Park 5 and rescinding his call for them to be executed.
Then the birther bullshit.
Then the administrationā€™s bogus claim of record attendance for his inauguration
Then his bullshit claim that Pres. Obama wiretapped him
Or how about him saying he fired Comey because of how Comey treated Hillary.
Iā€™m certain I missed more but you get the point.

The coverage he gets is because heā€™s lied so much that people are cynical of what he says and has to verify every thing that comes out of his anus shaped mouth. He built this.

Remember that guy who was pushing the fake news story about Obama being born in Kenya?

Problem is, heā€™s never led by positive example.
