The Fox News contributor who filed the lawsuit against the network, Rod Wheeler, alleged, among other things, that the Trump donor and fellow Fox News contributor Ed Butowsky tried to pressure him by sending a text message: âNot to add any more pressure but the president just read the article. He wants the article out immediately. Itâs now all up to you.â Butowsky told NPR he was joking with Wheeler, and never sent the story to Trump.
Highly credible. This administration is one big joke. In atrocious taste.
Yeah, thatâs Bullshit too.
"He met with members of the media, I donât find that to be a strange thing. "
LOL! Classic misdirection/playing deliberately obtuse. You know, because itâs the fact that he had a meeting or spoke with the press thatâs the issue, not the content of the conversationâŚ
Sorority Sarah strikes again.
Must have been a Phi Mu. I remember when I was in college.
âRattle, Rattle, Rattle, Here come the cattleâŚPhi Moooooooooooooo!â
Worst. Denial. Ever.
Your staff, your facility, but not your problem.
The buck stops somewhere over there.
Oh yeah and âthe checks in the mailâ. How much BS do you think we can âbuyâ Sarah???
Here we go againâŚThe 5 Stages of WH Bullshit Responses;
-
âThe President had No Knowledgeâ of Foxâs Seth Rich Story.
-
âThe President had Knowledgeâ of Foxâs Seth Rich Story but did not approve or edit anything.
-
âThe President had Direct Knowledge and contributed toâ Foxâs Seth Rich Story, but thatâs OK and normal.
-
âThe President had Direct Authorship ofâ of Foxâs Seth Rich Story and will no longer talk about it!
-
âWe will no longer answer any questions about Foxâs Seth Rich Story and BTW, the President deserves an Emmy for it!â
Good to know that everything has calmed down at the White House and the staff is back to cooperatively sucking each otherâs cocks.
Since Trump and the White House have been truthful in most things, I totally believe them on this.
Butowsky told NPR he was joking with Wheeler,
Every peccadillo that these GOP reactionaries get entangled with is always passed off as a âjokeâ or âOi! We woz only jokinâ.
Amazing for people for whom a sense of humor is as far remote as Cygnus X1.
Why would they be meeting with Trump representatives to inform them about a story about a DNC staffer? Is that standard journalistic practice to inform people who are not mentioned in the story? If they asked for comment and there was no comment, donât they usually say that? They did indicate that the FBI declined comment.
Black holes can be âleakyâ too!
A bit like claiming Gov. Christie had no knowledge of the Bride fiasco. It was done for him and he alone would benefit from it but of course he was out of the loop. As a result of that slick trick Christie is in the tank, more unpopular than Brownback, and done in public work. Because NO ONE believes he knew nothing about that damn bridge. Iâd like to think the same will happen to Trump. This story will adjust as the facts come out and only the hardcore 33% will hang with âhe did not knowâ or âits the Democratsâ. At some point someone in that chaotic WH is going to notice they spend way to much time defending Trump. Everyone else has. One more drip to the drip drip drip chain.
No stranger than walking into a bank and then leaving with a sum of money. Lots of people do that.
You know, Sarah, thereâs a fable, written by a guy called Aesop, about a boy who repeatedly cried âWolf!â Now fables have morals, and many people think that the moral of this story is that you should always tell the truth. But thatâs not it at all. The real moral is that you only have a certain amount of credibility, and if you use it up frivolously, you wonât be believed when itâs really important that people believe you.
Think about it.
âThe President didnât have knowledge of the story. The White House didnât have any involvement in the story.â
âŚor Jr.'s explanation of his meeting with Russians at Trump Tower to talk aboutâŚadoption! Yeah! Thatâs it! Adoption!
Absolutely. We should reach the fifth stage just about by Friday.
