this is what they said last week

If he says you can believe the Moore accusers, then why not the Trump accusers. It’s pretty obvious.

“The President certainly finds the allegations extremely troubling, as I stated yesterday,” Sanders responded, without answering the initial question. “And he feels like it’s up to the governor and the people in the state of Alabama to make a determination on whether or not they delay that election or whether or not they support and vote for Roy Moore.”

He is keeping this story going so to keep the outrage from the tax plan and medicare cuts out of the news.

Don’t get me wrong, I think misogyny and child abuse are disgusting. But this story is keeping the other things that are going on with actual legislation in the background.

Not one question today in the briefing about the Medicare cuts…

I was going to make this exact point. Instead of asking whether the White House believe Moore’s accusers, ask whether they believe Trump’s. That asshole has jumped on Twitter to moralize about Al Franken’s transgressions, which makes renewed questioning about the sexual assault HE’S committed more than fair.

When asked earlier about the difference between Trump and Sen. Al Franken (D-MN), who was accused by a radio news anchor Thursday of forcibly kissing her and groping her while on a USO tour, Sanders pointed to Franken’s apology.

“Senator Franken has admitted wrongdoing and the President hasn’t,” she said. “I think that’s a very clear distinction.”

This (smart-ass) response reminds me:

No matter your religious beliefs (or lack thereof), when Trump said back in 2015 that he’s never asked God for forgiveness, you should have just backed the hell away from him. That goes double for evangelicals, of course; but admitting one’s fallibility, recognizing that our words and actions (or lack thereof) can harm others and seeking forgiveness from those we’ve harmed, isn’t a religious act–it’s a deeply, profoundly human act. And Trump, then and now and no doubt throughout his life, admits he doesn’t feel the need to ask forgiveness.

You can write the conclusion to this as well as I can.

What’s the problem? He’s already claimed the dozen women HE abused are all liars, what’s eight more?

Wait…It’s up to HOW MANY?

I’m confident Trump will ask Moore to step aside when the revelations begin to surface of him dating zygotes.

Trump: Both sides do it, no reason to take sides.
Kelly: Teenagers should have compromised and obeyed. It was a privilege for them to date AG.

At least one has offered to come to D.C. and testify in front a committee. Oddly, she hasn’t been taken up on it. Off topic but why is Kirsten Gillibrand talking about how Bill Clinton should have resigned? I’m confused by what she hopes to accomplish here.

Some of us notice. But Franken obviously trumps the current occupant. It would be more interesting if it wasn’t so effing predictable. I realize that I’ll wind up in the communal lime-pit. At least I’ll be in good company.

“Senator Franken has admitted wrongdoing and the President hasn’t,” she said. “I think that’s a very clear distinction.”

It most certainly is.

Al Franken made some serious mistakes that he has owned up to and clearly regrets and has apologized for.

Trump has never owned up to any of his MANY misdeeds, much less apologized. He’s an unapologetic sexual assault enthusiast credibly accused of a long running series of incidents of sexual harassment and sexual assault. The fact that he doesn’t admit and apologize for his offenses just adds another item to the list of his moral failings.

Let’s just say the closest this person probably ever comes to feeling guilt is his evident reluctance to talk about whether he believes it when numerous women come forward telling essentially the same story about inappropriate and assaultive encounters with a particular man. He blithely offers confident opinions on myriad subjects of which he knows nothing. But on this one, he’s notably quiet. And I don’t blame him. Because he’s on the record admitting he’s done the same thing.

Not even just “admitting” it. Bragging about it!

Indeed. That’s an astute observation of the core problem with the “Krischun Nashun” evangelical white nationalist conservatives in this country: their high-horsed self-righteous Pharisee-esque pseudo-piety and their very public displays thereof have them convinced they can do no wrong such that they would even need to ask for forgiveness in the first place.

Indeed.

Well, he admitted wrongdoing, he just did not admit it was wrong:

“Grab ’em by the pussy. You can do anything.”

So is she, apparently.

As the latest person to like me and then unlike me, tell Tena and Little Girl Blue Blue that I will no longer bother you fine people. I did not realize that I was going back to high school. Good luck with that democracy stuff.

Well, Hell’s Belles, y’all. Everyone knows like Trump knows that those girls just were a-waitin’ for a mature, sexy, Baby-Jesus-worshippin’ hunk like Ol’ Roy to grab them by their vajayjays. Lordy, you Nawtheners get yourself in such a lather 'bout someone else’s sexual pickadillies!
