As i recall he did back down from a constitutional debate with Ted Cruz…Ted called him out and got crickets! Nobody beats Cruz in a constitutional debate…he brings an AK47 to a rock fight every time! Too dangerous…dont try that at home or anywhere else for that matter!

You conveniently fail to mention that Obama, a grad of Columbia and a magna from Harvard Law, taught con law at the University of Chicago for 12 years. There might be reasons other than sheer terror that he declined the offer.
