Yeah, just what we need. Dear Leader taking resources away to do a stupid photo op with Gov. Abbott and idiot Lt. gov. Dan Patrick.

Both Houston airports closed. Corpus Closed. Victoria Closed.

Dallas News is reporting he’s going to San Antonio. Sanctuary city. 60% Hispanic. Julian Castro as Congressman, Nirenberg (Jewish and Multi-Racial) is Mayor. 45 should be well received.

It’s just you, now those Frack-quakes in MI, WI and PA on the other hand…

San Antonio has been known to flood a time or two. I just can’t imagine if the rain keeps on dumping water at that rate for the next 3 or 4 days that San Antonio won’t be flooded, too.

I guess it depends on how much rain moves up there.

Go fuck yourself Mr. Trump, go fuck yourself!

I’m seeing that Bastrop and LaGrange are under mandatory evacuation. Highway 71 was closed down. Flooding in New Braunfels, San Marcos and Austin.

Maybe the asshole can visit Amarillo.

Been holding my breath on this. So far, excluding the eastern part of the city, we have had very little in rain relative to what has been happening, lots of wind but not major. Just started getting blue skies and sunshine in the last hour or so. It looks to be boiling away to the east and north of us. Considering the expectations on Thu\Fri and then its hovering nearby to our east, we have been incredibly fortunate. Now if it swings up and back down on us, that is a question.

Maybe they’ll emulate that Iraqi journalist who was pissed at Bush in 2008 and pelt Donald with Ivanka Trump Designer Shoe Knock-offs.

They believe that until it’s their voters who are impacted and they can take credit. Abbott and Patrick are already on it, and Dear Leader will be in line to take credit. Meanwhile, they will ignore the real work done by Houston’s Dem Mayor Sylvester Turner (unless Donny wants his picture with a black man to show how not racist he is) and our County Judge, Ed Emmett (equivalent of county administrator), and their people.

I’m sure the disaster stricken population looks forward to hearing about his election victory. Again.

We also have Kelly, excuse Kelly City Base wait, or it is Port San Antonio. Whatever it is, Kelly field. So that is likely where he will set down.

So you are telling me to expect traffic interruptions and a fetid smell in the air on Tuesday.

When this was announced on Houston Channel 13 earlier, the anchor exclaimed, “What’s he going to do, hold a rally?”

Let’s just say that I don’t see the prospect of the presence of the president in this area a “comfort” in this difficult time.

Just curious, why did Abbott give warnings ahead of the storm? Weather forecasting is based on Science.

Shouldn’t a good Republican just have accepted whatever happened as Divine intervention, and not tried to interfere with it?

As Juanita Jean put it so eloquently

" Hell, if he sets foot in Houston, we’d have to skim nasty off the flood water for weeks and we just don’t have time."

Well, good point, he has his fans here. Not so much now, but some.

I have always been a bit cynical about any given President doing the visit in a disaster area. I understand the morale factor aspect, but it requires resources and attention that can be given elsewhere.
