“There is a key difference between a president who exercises his authority under the Constitution and a president who overrules career experts and his top advisors to benefit his family members and then conceals his actions from the American people,” he said in the statement.

Just in case anyone was thinking that Cummings isn’t up to the task.

And both are different from a racketeer who acts primarily to benefit his family members and his corrupt organization as he conceals his actions and steals from the American people.

White House Counsel Pat Cipollone wrote a bombastic March 4 letter to House Oversight Committee Chairman Elijah Cummings (D-MD), saying that the executive branch would not answer “legally unsupportable ultimatums demanding unilateral surrender of the prerogatives of a co-equal branch of the government.”

I’m glad they clarified that Donald Trump did not write “legally unsupportable ultimatums demanding unilateral surrender of the prerogatives of a co-equal branch of the government.”

Gosh…this doesn’t REEK of cover up or anything? I wonder what bile Ms. Sarah will spew to blame this security lapse on the Democrats…

And he’s an eminently qualified senior advisor to the POTUS because he married the President’s daughter and inherited a real estate empire from his father.

The Trump Crime Family is so extensive, that taking anyone of them down, will take them all down.

Wait for it …

Why are the GOP elite OK with this? Why do they give Kushner cover? They have their damned tax cuts - why protect this obvious self-dealer and liar?

Confirms what we already knew from Bannon, etal. There was no regard for security or proven policy to vet those in the Admin. Else, there would not already be a well known trail to indicate of why this Admin should comply. Getting combative about something that should be a non issue is not a good look.

The quote struck me too.

Go get ‘em, Chairman Cummings!

But didn’t the Dotard say just two days ago that he’s always cooperative with the Democrats?

And if I was President
The minute the Congress called my name
I’d say “now who do
Who do you think you’re fooling?”
I’ve got the presidential seal
I’m up on the presidential podium
My mama loves me, she loves me
She get down on her knees and hug me
Oh, and she loves me like a rock
She rock me like the rock of ages
And love me
She love me, love me, love me, love me

That key being Donald Trump vs every other president we’ve had, probably anyway!

It’s just mere reflex for the Criminal GOP now. They can’t do it any differently. Because their inactivity has destroyed their backbones.

As I’ve said myriad times: the Traitor-in-Chief has not intentionally told the truth since he started his campaign.

Which was your point, I’m guessing.

Chairman Cummings is more than up to the task. He could take on the whole fricken WH staff with one hand tied behind his back and with his eyes closed.

This seems like a uniquely stupid battle to pick, were it a battle the White House viewed as pick-optional.

It is the most blatant, most bombastic nepotism, and literally millions of Americans (lots of them right-leaning) have filled out those forms and took that responsibility deadly seriously.
