They simply won’t be satisfied until they traumatize young children into a life of suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.
What is Trump’s and his adminitration’s perverted obsession with separating children from their parents? I can think of no better way to breed more terrorism and anti-American sentiment in this world.
All together now, that’s “deplorable!”
Unhappy over their reputation as penny ante grifters and criminals, evidently the Trump regime wants to be known as war criminals and thugs.
#WINNING
Well, in all fairness to the White House, they wouldn’t have to separate families if they were allowed simply to shoot them on sight.
Secretary Nielsen should just get on with it and do what she would love to do: build “work camps” along the border, and funnel the migrants right into them using cattle cars on specially built rail lines. Stephen Miller could oversee the family separations upon arrival: who goes left and who goes right. He’d be good at it. The operations will all be sufficiently remote that the smokestacks should not be a problem. This should please Der Fuhrer, erm, the President. MAGA!
You know this is because of the Flores Settlement. So they’ve tried to get out of it, modify it, and now we’re moving on to “how to inflict the most pain and suffering, while making a profit for our donors” part of the program.
Just think if there was no Flores Settlement these assholes would be plenty fine with keeping families together in concentration camps, work camps optional.
If you think this policy is dreadful, criminal, inhuman, and monstrous and you still don’t vote, I’ll be as upset at that person as I am at this Administration. Only way to effect change is to vote these bastards out because they’re basically running on this policy.
Exactly the image that came into my mind.
Have a little table where a Steven Miller clone separates parents and children, men and women, left and right. Put the adults to work like prison gangs to pick crops or tend garden, or in factories owned by the administration’s friends. Warehouse the children, except for the adoptable ones - you know, light-skinned, very young, cute. When the warehoused kids get older, put them to work too. Poof: indentured laborers/slaves to help MAGA. So what, if a similar plan resulted in a civil war? So what, if it’s inhumane, injurious, and despicable?
Stephen Miller, the “brains” behind this “plan” (no doubt with input from Bannon) is a fascist White Supremacist. He wants to Make America White Again. As usual, the uber-conservatives are motivated by deep fear of “the other”. Chickenshit monsters.
Trump’s enablers like the plan because they’ll get richer than ever. They’ll own and run the camps, charging $1,000 a day per kid, while feeding the children garbage and housing them like animals in a kill-shelter.
Trump likes the plan because he’s a vicious, cowardly, bully who believes torturing weak and helpless children will make him look “tough” and “strong”, and will raise his popularity with his cretin base.
This is obscene and about as fascist as it gets and I thought the courts had told them to stop it.
But now they control the courts, see? They think they can appeal lower court decisions against them until the case(s) reach the Roberts-Kavanaugh court. And Trump&Co win! They think.
I’m sure that is what they think.
From the article:
officials have proposed new rules that would allow them to withdraw from a 1997 federal court agreement that bars ICE from keeping children in custody for more than 20 days.
I didn’t know that you could just unilaterally withdraw from a court-ordered settlement if it became inconvenient. Maybe they’re figuring on new judges who will decide that the civil and criminal penalties that were the alternative under the original suit no longer apply.
Let us also remember that all the numbers used to justify the new policy in the post article are supplied by DHS. Not exactly the most reliable of sources.
So you fixed the leaks this time and we are not going to hear about your immoral / unethical deplorable thought process on immigration this go around.
I doubt it
Stephen Miller needs to be sent home to where his ancestors came from. He’s the kind of riff raff American doesn’t need. Too bad he wasn’t separated from his parents–or was he?
Well they haven’t seen pissed off ACLU and a host of other immigration organizations that will go to court over this.
The only way I can see this going ahead is if we don’t win the mid-terms. Then maybe a GOP Congress will write and pass some Miller approved legislation.
Trader in chief, turn coat, flip-flop her. New map p
What’s the matter stupid can’t you fix it? It’s too much wood did you even try to correct this great wrong of separating children from their parents. Prove that you even tried. He’s a liar.
More amber alerts to be issued in the near future Kidnapper in chief. What are your plans for these children slave labor, little soldiers, sex trafficking?
Gift that keeps on giving. What a dirty rotten underhanded lowlife piece of crap he is and his policies.
Human rights atrocities aren’t these impeachable offense is. Who wants to take the time to impeach him article 25 thank you very much in anyone else that resides in the White House that decides to pull the same dirty tricks this lowlife piece of crap has tried article 25. You’re fired Donald Trump and your whole rotten family can go with you out of our White House. The next best thing that could happen is his son-in-law to be D Nied Ability to enter the White House for for security reasons he’s a threat to work Sullivan tree because he encourages along with his father-in-law a continued relationship with the butcher in Saudi Arabia, the prince the royalty there are butchers.
If it works to stop people with lives elsewhere, imagine how effective it’ll be against citizens.
