A. Clinton Operative X Donald Trump lays waste to the Republican Party
B. Clinton Operative Y McCarthy lays waste to the idea of Adult Intelligence in a G.O.P. House Speaker
You mean he actually thinks? After watching that Rachel Maddow segment on this guy, I realize that there is someone out there that makes Sarah Palin look smart.

On a deeper level it reinforces the idea that the Republicans don’t really take the idea of governing seriously. They see what they do while in Washington as mere political theater designed and scripted by their political consultants to create opportunities for donors or for more fund raising. You see this in everything from the length of their Washington work week (3 days max) to the way that they run their committees (95% time goes to questions/speeches and 5% to answers) .

It’s ironic that this discussion took place on Hannity’s program. During the 2008 primaries, Hannity’s singular goal was to “Stop Hillary Now!” Look how well that worked out for the Republicans.
Seriously, this isn’t just a joke - of course Kevin McCarthy is a joke, but what the GOP did is not a joke. Democrats in the House should be pushing hard for the members of that committee to be censored for their action. They need to keep this on the front page for another 4 months minimum.
