Well Mukasey was on PBS saying Trump “did nothing wrong” because those payments to playthings were serving a “dual purpose,” which is not illegal. I believe his point is that Trump was paying hush money to keep the women’s stories under wraps not because he was running for President but to not tarnish his reputation. (I know, I know, but it is an argument)
Mukasey gave an example of having a donor buy yard signs or buttons which would directly result in an advantage for Trump’s campaign.
So what if a donor hired hookers for Trump’s foreign relations advisory board- campaign contribution or not?
So what if a donor hired a hit man to take out Daniels or McDougal-campaign contribution or not?
