Bad people - bad plan - bad outcomes.

Americans without documentation are getting deported as we speak - deported to countries they have no knowledge of and frequently do not even speak the language. I wonder if Mitch McConnell would think it is an emergency if it was one of his family members being ripped out of their home and banished to a strange land.

This is not going to be solved until we regain the House - in the meantime, untold damage will be done. Democrats need to be strong and unwavering on this. I know several DACA people who are in danger. The longer it drags on, the more stories we are going to see. Unbelievable cruelty from ignorant people.

Just as Rethuliklans aren’t particularly known for strong family values, amphibians aren’t particularly known for strong family ties. They pretty much lay their eggs and are on their way. Then it’s every whippersnapper for themselves.

The devil is in the details.

No, the devil is in Stephen Miller’s office.

Artfully shortened headline:

Pretty Much Everyone Hates The White House

What’s not to like? Just because Trump and Miller want to hang a sign at all ENTRY POINTS, immigration and visa offices that says:

“APPROVED CAUCASIANS ONLY! OTHERS NEED NOT APPLY.”

No, Stephen Miller is the devil.

Let’s wait for the true “act of staggering cowardice”

Nothing makes these people angrier than the the thought that these brown children would eventually be able to vote on their representation as opposed to simply subjected to non-participatory rule by their rightful white overlords.

I know the devil. I’ve sacrificed virgins to the devil. I worship the devil on a daily basis. And Stephen Miller is no devil, since The Dark Lord is quite handsome and hung like a bear.

“Pretty Much Everyone Hates The White House’s Immigration Plan.”

I guess Trump really is the kind of dealmaker who gets everyone to agree.

Actually, I think the Devil is in charge, so to speak.

I’m guessing if Donald sees the bad number’s he’ll claim he had nothing to do with the plan and expect someone in the WH to resign over it. I guessing maybe he’ll use this to oust Kelly.

Well, what do you know? Trump finally proved himself to be a uniter and not a divider. Now let Donald Trump and Stephen Miller and John Kelly and the rest of the blatant racist scum at the White House join hands and warble “I’d Like To Teach The World To Sing” from that shitty 1960s Coca-Cola commercial, only with all white people.

So Trump’s proposal is to reduce legal immigration in exchange for allowing people who were brought here illegally to stay and get citizenship?

No wonder some immigration hard-liners are confused and angry. After all, many of them have spent decades swearing they’re not opposed to immigration, just illegal immigration. Immigrants are welcome, they claimed, they should just “do it the right way.” And now Trump proposes just the opposite: “amnesty” and even citizenship (!!!) for the Dreamers – which these hardline anti-immigrant folks have always portrayed as a deeply unfair way for lawbreakers to “cut in line” – and at the same time big cuts in legal immigration, making that line longer for those who have been patiently “waiting their turn.”

Of course after a bit of angst, most of these anti-immigration hard-liners will make the pivot to celebrating the cuts in legal immigration while portraying any Dreamer deal as an unfortunate but acceptable price to pay. Because in reality these people have never been O.K. with legal immigration either – they just didn’t get the memo that it was O.K. to come out of the closet and admit that their real goal is shutting down all nonwhite immigration, legal or otherwise. They’re playing catch-up with Trump, as he blazes new territory in the frontiers of xenophobia and racism

It takes a special kind of talent to combine the worst features of all different poles of immigration policy.

Perhaps Trump should go back to watching television in his pajamas and leave the grown-ups to do the actual work, That worked out pretty well during the shutdown.

Not to be contrary, but I just learned that crocodiles mate for life (sometimes) (ABC).

Mitch is his own species of vile.

He then called on his Twitter followers to set Trump’s signature “Make America Great Again” red caps on fire.

You know those caps made in China are probably also made with horrible toxic chemicals. The act of burning them and inhaling any of the fumes would be poisonous. Kinda sweet irony.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) called the plan “an act of staggering cowardice which attempts to hold the DREAMers hostage to a hateful anti-immigrant scheme.”

“The DREAMers will not be ransomed for a hateful agenda that betrays our sacred American values,” she wrote in a statement over the weekend. “The 50 percent cut to legal immigration in the framework and the recent announcements to end Temporary Protected Status for Central Americans and Haitians are both part of the same cruel agenda. They are part of the Trump Administration’s unmistakable campaign to make America white and poor again.”
