You have to congratulate her on being an even more dishonest twit than spicer.

And once again, Trump’s partner’s receive the traditional reward for trusting him and sticking by him. Hope your health insurance covers penetrating back wounds and your dry cleaners can get those tire tracks out of your suit coats, guys.

The rumored closing of Estelle Getty Fashion Lines must have been false.

I think that it’s sad that they’ve chosen to play partisan politics instead of trying to have a seat at the table.ā€

Dems have at least learned something by now. There’s no ā€œnegotiatingā€ with psychopaths and it’s really best to just let them have their fingerprints on the weapon.

EDIT TO ADD: It was bad enough that she wore that ā€œunfortunateā€ choice of clothing once. Doing it repeatedly, indicates some kind of mental blockage.

Head fake. There’s almost no chance DT’s minions work to significantly change the bill.

ā€˜If Democrats really cared…’ Oh BS (and WTF is that palm tree you’re wearing???) If Republicans really cared they wouldn’t have done this in secret like WAS REPORTED BY ACTUAL JOURNALISTS you dweeb. But I digress. Is Trump hedging his bets BEFORE he hears from everyone what a POS this bill is? Is he STILL trying to be the most popular boy in the room by throwing everyone under the bus? Lord, Donnie, you didn’t run for CLASS president.

ā€œI do know that he made a statement earlier that said this is a negotiation and so he’s going to continue that process with both House and Senate members and his administration until we get the best bill that we can,

In other words, Trump - the world’s greatest negotiator - will rely on Tom Price to help the Senate and House Republicans craft the evisceration of health care coverage for millions and massive tax cuts for a few. He will then take credit for a huge win - with enough wiggle room to put the blame on others if there are too many complaints and his poll numbers sink even lower.

They are supposedly voting next week.

Good 'three legged stool comparison by Charles Gaba.

If Democrats really cared, they would be Republican. That’s clearly what she means.

Republicans believe their position is the true answer, the North Star, and there is no other position. Period. Full stop. Whereas Dems will look at things from all angles, try to see the other position, and use logic to tease out why their position is most reasonable.

Very admirable! But doesn’t work if you want to win votes or have your policies become law.

ā€œIf Democrats really cared, they would try to be involved in the process,ā€ Sanders said

Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-MO) on the GOP negotiating entirely in secret, with no Democratic input:

I mean, listen, this is hard to take…We’re not even going to have a hearing, on a bill that impacts one-sixth of our economy. We’re not going to have an opportunity to offer a single amendment.

Trump is sticking his tiny finger up into the wind to see how it’s blowing. It’s how he rolls. Loved the house version until it polled badly. Republicans in congress will someday learn what everyone who works with him or interacts with him on anything knows: he will stab you in the back so hard and so fast if it prevents his getting any blame for anything negative. Right now he’s waiting for the adoring crowds and hero worship coming from ā€œdoingā€ healthcare. And it ain’t happening.

ROFLMAO

How you like that President you colluded with the Russians to get elected now, Turtleman?

Bullshit.

Trump would sign a flaming dog turd if he could crow and sell the rubes that it is ā€œrepeal and replaceā€.

Are you fuckign shitting me?

They wouldn’t even let the majority of the Republicans caucus be involved and shut out ANY involvement AT ALL from the Democrats. And while Democrats would love nothing more than to improve and fix some of the issue with the ACA, that was, and is, never going to be an option with the GOP in the majority and Trump in the White House.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders, later in the day, after taking TRUTH SERUM:

"I think that it’s sad that [Democrats] have chosen to play partisan politics instead of taking on a sizeable share of the political fallout,
revulsion & blowback that will inevitably develop…

When the President’s supporters realize he’s pulling away their healthcare lifeline, in order to offset massive tax cuts for his wealthiest cronies,
kissing many of his voters goodbye to face early deaths from untreated diabetes, heart disease and respiratory illness."

All Trump, All the Time radio says:

"But in those particular [cabinet] positions, I just don’t want a poor person. Does that make sense? If you insist, I’ll do it — but I like it better this way.ā€

  • Trump in Iowa (was it only yesterday?)

(Edit: Trump has the richest cabinet in history, equivalent to 1/3 of American households by some reckonings)

It’s a negotiation! His roll will be to help the House and the Senate decide whether to cut Medicaid before they all get reelected, or after!
