The last thing Theresa May needs is a visit from Donald Trump, her lack of condemnation for Trump’s classless act after the London attack contributed to her bad results.
I can see where flying Trump’s bed, nightstand and pacifier collection to various foreign destinations might have some in the travel office nudging him to stay home and host dignitaries stateside.
It’s just not as fun for Donald without glowing orbs of avarice.

Semantics here: He’s not delaying His visit to the UK because He hasn’t commited to a date yet.
And he won’t commit to a date until the UK makes Article 11 of the Human RIghts Act (1998) go away 
He was so looking forward to riding with the queen, but now he’s starting to realize what those cheering mobs lining the street will actually be yelling at him.

Pretty much. He’s already so painfully thin-skinned and there’s just no way he could handle seeing 100s of thousands of people taking to the streets in protest. The protests here in the States he can write off as organized by the Democratic Party, but that won’t work overseas. He’ll just be stuck with atrocious optics and the realization by his voters that even the snobby Brits aren’t afraid of him.
