Discussion: White House Announces Changes to Visa Waiver Program

Discussion for article #243267

It’s very reassuring to have a President who can ignore the hair-on-fire irrational media reactions/islamophobic right wing reactions to the Paris attacks, look at his own administration based on the lessons learned, and announce to the nation that he is proactively taking responsibility for correcting the real issues that have come to light.

Remember the time during the 2004 election when a reporter asked GW Bush to name a mistake, any mistake, he had made anytime during his administration or even in his life, and the full answer amounted to: Uhh, ummm, ah, mmm, uhh, dead silence?

Will this country really consider any of the current crop of Republican candidates, all of whom make GWB look like a paragon of self awareness and responsibility?

That is the scariest question for the next 11 months.

thanks to these assholes(terrorist) travel is more difficult for the rest of us;

Can’t wait for conservatives to complain this is a boondoggle for TSA and we can’t spend the money, after voting for pointless measures, on more logical solutions.

PS: Don’t forget the ultimate VISA waiver program, wet food dry foot (Cuba).

Excellent news. Should have been tightened up some time ago.
