Instead of addressing the comments, Whitaker said it would be inappropriate for him to talk about an ongoing investigation.

Well, how about witches? Would it be appropriate to talk about witches? And how about the courageous hunters of those witches? Can we talk about them?

Man, this guy is everything you’d expect and less. Big talker among his slob peers, pretty meek and intent on staying out of trouble when the grownups show up and start asking pointed questions. Perfect for this pack of grifters and fakes. Not much as acting attorney general of the United States, though. We all saw what he was from miles away.

Yes, I would hope the response was something along the lines of, say, “Well, that ship has already sailed.”

And, no, it doesn’t matter that he said it before his appointment. In fact, that was likely the point of the comments in the first place. Auditioning from afar, and all that.

Here’s a little writing lesson. The statement quoted above is ambiguous: was the opportunity given before he joined the DOJ, or were his comments before he joined? It could be easily fixed:

I am really tired of a bunch of millionaire men using the phrase ‘witch hunt’ after a century or so of poor women being hunted, tortured and burned or hung as witches.
They need to find a new phrase for “how dare peasants look into my criminal behavior”
