Discussion: Whitaker Stays Put At The Justice Department In A New Role

I seriously doubt that. He’s been sworn in, so I’d guess he’s on the job. Now. Today.

There was a time gap for Whitaker.

I think there’s a significant time gap between the moment any information comes to Whitaker, and the moment when it registers.

Remember, he was just an “acting,” and was way out of his league from the get-go. Barr’s been here before.

Matt Whitaker overseeing civil rights, environmental and antitrust matters. Wow! He can undo a great deal of good there. And do a great deal of evil.

It does not say what Whitaker’s job title/responsibilities are “in the office of the associate attorney general.”

Which could mean you are right- he is working the door.

And so he could get his stories straight. I hear he isn’t too good at recognizing a favorable version of one of his stories, as witnessed by his “WTF are you talking about?” look at Louie Eminence Grise Gohmert at the hearings last week.

Well, look whose 5 minutes are up. Meanwhile, Nadler will have his 5, then another 5, and as many 5 minute blocks he wants.

remains at the Justice Department, but in a very different role.
At least we can get some work out of him for the pay he gets, courtesy of taxpayers

Wouldn’t be surprised if Shitaker’s #1 priority as “ass-ociate AG” is taking charge of the shredder room. :smirk:

Is it ironic that Whitaker looks, smells, and quacks like a skin head!

“Trump Weasel” is a new job category. You get on that list if you are between employment and indictment.

Whitaker, who last week appeared before the House Judiciary Committee, now works the office of the associate attorney general to see if he can make his hot tub sales quota.
