Discussion: While Homegrown Terrorism Gets Worse, DHS Has Disbanded Domestic Intel Group

Why is this woman looking thoughtful?

It’s called “acting.”

DHS told the Daily Beast that shuttering the group was just part of a restructuring effort.

“The same people are working on the issues,” a spokesperson said. “We just restructured things to be more responsive to the I&A customers within DHS and in local communities while reducing overlap with what the FBI does. We actually believe we are far more effective now.”

Gobbly-gook, argle bargle, makes my head hurt this early in the AM.

I wonder who these “customers” are.

Can’t have anybody observing coordination with the brown shirts now, can we?

"We actually believe we are far more effective now.”

And we’re much closer to legitimizing right wing terror as a patriotic tool of good governance.

Obliviously the DHS spokesperson came from the business world before this gig.

Trying to make her look intelligent .

This is all by design.

The only way for Trump to be able to call off the 2020 elections and declare Martial Law is if there is a “Reichstag Fire” event in the US in Sept/Oct 2020.

The best way to do that is to whip up the crazies on the far-right and have them attack a large democratic rally/convention/gathering killing as many people as they can along the way (in support of Cheeto Mussolini of course.)

If the DHS is actually LOOKING for “domestic terrorists” they may stumble upon the plot and stop it.

If part of your plan is to strategically utilize right wing hate groups to impact situations…
Then you need to take steps to provide them with room to operate without constraints.

Local law enforcement.

For example:

But Sgt. Mike Abdeen with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department told The Daily Beast that his office used to receive a significant amount of material from I&A, but that the communications have dried up in recent months. For the last six months, he said, I&A has been mostly silent. He added that this has been consistent with broader changes in how the department communicates with his office.

“It’s been very quiet lately,” Abdeen said. “It’s changed with the new administration. It doesn’t seem to be as robust, as active, as important—it is important, I’m sure, but it’s not a priority. It doesn’t seem like engagement, outreach, and prevention are seen as a priority as we used to see in the past. There were roundtable meetings in the past, there was more activity, more training, more seminars. Now it seems like it’s gone away.”

Nielsen needs to be in a chain-link cage under a bridge in El Paso.

No, that isn’t Nielsen looking “thoughtful”.
That is Nielsen trying to pop a zit on her chin.

Who are I&A customers?

The money saved from this restructuring can be used to set up free Federal sites providing subsidized swastika tattoos.

Don’t worry.

I’m sure Trump will explain this, too, “right after the election.”

This sounds like & falls in with Donnie Deutsch’s prediction that Trump’s going to covertly instigate / encourage massive amounts of domestic violence.
No way is Donnie Deutsch a sage prognosticator … but it is unsettling that he has personally known Trump for years … and is so firmly & consistently convinced that Trump would essentially engage in domestic genocide in order to achieve totalitarian control indefinitely…

Will he even remember this after the election? It will be interesting to see how this morphs into something else.

This is right-wing political correctness at work. Back in 2009, they suppressed a report detailing the rise of homegrown terrorist groups. These groups are responsible for most of the domestic terrorist activites and yet we can’t talk about them for fear of offending the right. This is political correctness literally killing us.
