I know 2020 is a long way off but one of the FIRST things than needs to happen if there is a Democrat in the WH is to order a nationwide massive law enforcement crackdown on these right wing white supremacists and Nazis. Roll up all of their organizations and treat it like the mafia.
The streets of America need to be a place these dirty filth fear to be. Crush them utterly.

Then those people need to be investigated too. And if law enforcement folks are found to be members then they should have yet more charges thrown at them. Whenever we ‘go into’ these people it just makes me so sad, like (I know it’s nuts to think so) if I could just hug somebody for about 1hr a day they would not get into any of this stuff.

Sorry, I woke up sad today for some reason and this is just all together more sad for me.
I always thought it was the LITERALLY black people bore the Mark of Cain because all black persons were descended from Cain and ‘he’ was turned black as punishment for his killing Abel.

So many take aways from this. Was there time to simmer this down after Furgeson? And how many others are silently boiling over? And is there some larger aggrieved pool out there or is it just more easy to connect to people, including their worst nature? Like are there more sad and depressed and demoralized people out there that Trump and isis can tap into or is it just that it is easier to connect to them?
Hm…maybe. But they don’t look like tweakers to me. When I lived in the backcountry I came into frequent contact with tweakers and they never had the steady, focused look that these guys have. My ex used to say you can always recognize a tweaker because he’s in the driveway polishing the fender of a car that has its engine in pieces on the ground. That’s also not someone you want in your army.

I did something highly unusual for me and read this entire article - normally I am not that interested in digging into all of the potential reasons for people becoming like this - it somehow feels like it is unearned glorification of their racism and hatred. But this particular paragraph jumped out at me. It is such a recurrent theme with these guys, and the term is always breeding. “They are breeding like wild dogs”, “they are breeding us out of existence”, “they are mixing the races with inter-racial breeding”. There is so much to unpack in those kind of statements, and I am not the right person to do it. Let’s just say it is an especially chilling view of humanity, love and family that I will never come close to understanding.
This reminds me of the Tsarnaev (sp?) brothers that did the Boston Marathon bombing. Sounds a little like the older brother was a bad influence on the younger… Maybe the younger couldn’t take being overtly at odds with his brother and took the tragic way out.

Weird looking dudes. I think the Mormon connection is interesting. Some Mormon beliefs, like Smith the golden plates and magic googles that allowed him to read them, seem to me to be a bit out there. To each her/his own, but does being taught these types of things at a young age tend to make one more susceptible to believing in conspiracy theories later in life?

Disenfranchised youth join gangs for a sense of belonging. There’s a sense in which white supremacist groups are gangs, not wildly different from the Crips and Bloods who terrorized Southern California in the 1970s and 80s or ISIS and MS-13 today.
