Discussion: What To Watch For In Pruitt's Back-To-Back House Subcommittee Grillings

I don’t know about the rest of you, but I’m watching for pitchforks and torches.*

*torches burning clean natural gas, natch.

Nice article, except for not naming the two House committees that Pruitt will testify in front of in the second paragraph, as in: “Pruitt was scheduled to testify about his agency’s budget in back-to-back hearings before two House subcommittees, [specifically, the House Subcommittee on xxx and the House Subcommittee on yyy]” I searched the article for their names and finally found one, the environmental subcommittee, buried later in the article, but not the other. (A Senate committee was named at the end of the article, but that’s not relevant to the testimony today.) The article reads well; it’s just that this information could have been made more easily available.

All the prepping won’t help change that he went on Fox (after being told by the WH not to do interviews) to claim righteousness about the charges - and then went on to be disproved - not just by media, but also by the husband of his landlord having to quit his firm when the firm admitted the two had met about business in front of the EPA.

But given the committees are run by republicans it will be more sharp words than fireworks.

There will be roughly 1.7 million diagnoses for cancer in the US this year. With Pruitt’s rollbacks that number should rise. This is especially notable as environmental pollutants have now overtaken the traditional cause, smoking, for the top spot. Ronny Jackson may have been the “Candyman” but Scott Pruitt is the “Endocrine Disruptor Man”. Men and women (especially in fracking areas), grab your junk.

In the case of women, that’s Mr. Trump’s job.

I hope that there will juicy stuff to use if he decides to run for OK Governor.
