Nunes actions come off as panicked. Not some grand plan to muddy waters or give Trump political cover, which was the result to some extent. It would require a level,of intelligence that I don’t think Nunes has. Unnamed individual,who provided info to Nunes perhaps prodded him to go to Trump.
