United States Code at 18 U.S.C. § 2381 makes a clarification:
Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer deathâŚ
âNBC News initially reported that the notes contained the word âdonation,â but a spokesman for Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa â the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, whose staff has reviewed the notes â disputed that the word âdonationâ appears. The two sources who initially provided the information then said that the word was not âdonation.â One said it was âdonor,â and another said it was a word that referenced political contributions, but that source declined to be more specific.â
Maybe NBC would be wiser not to speculate on the meaning of vague references provided by these two particular sources. Just saying.
Whatâs to be said? The thot plickens.
Anybody else remember that in All the Presidentâs men there was a story published that turned out not to be true and the Forces of Evil made all kinds of stink about it?
Trump pounced on CNN when they screwed up. But NBC is still writing checks to âExecutive Producerâ Donald, so the Staff of Lice has no comment on this so far.
Actually, it was âdonutsâ - Paul needed to bring them up to Trump after the meeting Donald Sr. was listening in on.
Wow, slow Friday.
Was the word âethanolâ mentioned?
Except he wouldnât text Oh Shit, he would put a smily face on it.
This makes it worse for Manafort/Trump/RNC because no one is as of yet contesting the reference to âpolitical donationsâ. The insertion of the word âpoliticalâ makes it much more targeted and purposeful. It leaves little else to the imagination.
Yes, it was the word âdonor,â but that was only with reference to Manafortâs note to himself to fill out his organ donor card. Iâll bet thatâs the story theyâll use. That will present quite the conundrum after heâs found guilty of treason, and the penalty outlined in US Code 18 U.S.C. Sec. 2381 is put into effect. Personally, i would tun it down.
Somebody might be trying to muddy the investigation? Trumpâs threat to pardon is sowing bad seeds? Abuse of power and obstruction of justice is taking on a definition that the Founders could never have envisioned.
They would have laughed at the idea that the Russians had taken over the Mafia or a presidential nominee would beg a foreign power to intervene in our election process. Who would do such a treasonous thing and still call themselves an American?
Weâ entered uncharted corruption territory when the Rehnquist Court stopped Florida from counting the votes. Just look where it has led us in less that 20 years.
Word!
The reference to âpolitical donationsâ also creates a broader net of recipients: RNC, GOP Pols, Pacs, and GOP delegates.
This is why we need to restore the competitive news and media market in the US and stop allowing the BIG 5 New giants to control what read, hear, and see. Before baby Bush relaxed the FCC ownership rules, we had a diverse and much more investigative news industry. Now, we have the BIG 5 that controls 90% of the news AND they basically all use the same news services. The result, we have fewer and fewer investigative journalists on the beat. If we had move, there were be a lot more vetting of stories!
-Pick up Donaldâs rug from the cleaners
-forward Donald links to pee porn website
-write up more cheesy things for Donald to tweet
-Polish Putinâs knob
Not to deflate what I hope is a beautiful balloon of criminality and treason, but couldnât he have written âdonationâ or âdonorâ because the Russian lawyer claimed to have evidence of the DNC taking illicit foreign donations?
To be clear, I donât believe the Russian lawyerâs claims and Iâm all for Manafort getting taken down, but this story seems easily explained in a non-sinister way.
It turns out that there were only three notations in Manafortâs handwriting:
1) covfefe
2) rosebud
3) Croatoan
Oh, those three words, plus a repetition of these three capitalized letters, P, O and E, in various orders, repeated over and over again.
All very straightforward, no room for any speculation, nothing to see here, move along now.
