‘What Do We Think About Mick?’
Jagger? One of the gods or rock, as well as…
Oh. Mulvaney. Another ass licking corrupt grifter. Does Trump hire anyone else?
That photo is a real stomach-turning twofer - Mulvaney the dweeb-weasel in front, and Devos, the Christo-fascist birdbrain in the background. Please TPM, I’ve gotta try to make it through another day…
Among all of the sleaze bubbling around the cabinet - I get the sense that Mulvaney is the most viperish. Seems like a rattlesnake ready to strike. One can almost see the treachery dripping from his fingertips. It might be interesting to see how he would fare in the position most-likely to be turned on by Trump (because it is the position that is supposed to give the most advising - and Trump resents that).
The big question, given his viperish disposition - is what does Mulvaney hope to gain? This isn’t a stepping stone position for higher office. Leaving one to think that it is because he could directly ‘dole out’ presidential attention to favored donors that he might want this slot. Someone should keep an eye on any private/offshore bank accounts he has recently opened.
Mulvaney is smart and knows his way around Capitol Hill. He’s good at presenting his extreme Freedom Caucus positions to the inner circle in ways they’ll accept at least part of his proposals.
He’s also ambitious. Now 51, he has his eyes on Trump’s chair.
It amazes me that anyone with another option would take a job in this administration. It’s a testament to the level of ego and greed for power these people can have. Any moderately intelligent person is capable of seeing what you’re walking into. But sometimes that lust can blind you and against that faint whisper in the back of your mind you go ahead.
Divided,
Anything, which makes Kelly suffer, is fine with me, but leaving a trail of roadkills after the Presidency is attractive, too, might discourage some of the bastards …
Maybe vipers aren’t so good at recognizing the danger presented by other vipers close to them? At some point if Mulvaney were in the CoStaff position - it would turn into a scorpion tango til one drops (stings) the other. And unless Trump, at that time in the future, is on the descent within the far-right base, he will demean and break Mulvaney.
But given the damage Mulvaney has been wreaking via the OMB and the CPB - maybe that isn’t a bad thing.
Trump is also reportedly asking advisers about Nick Ayers, Vice President Mike Pence’s chief of staff.
Nick Ayers helped Greitens skirt campaign finance laws by soliciting donations from restricted donors.

Dirty deeds done dirt cheap
What do we think about Mr. Donut? He’s a butt-licking ZERO. PERFECT for the job.
It’s all so 8th grade in it’s obsession with position around the popular kids. Except we all know that 45* wasn’t the popular kid - how’d he get into that role?
he also has a shot at it because his hot villainess of a wife is just 45* 's type
“What do we think about Mick”
About the same as one does about trump.
anyone who has commonsense and a sense of mental stability.
Environmental hazard. You can’t take a picture in Trump’s White House without getting at least five assholes in the frame. More if you’re using a wide-angle lens.
Ha!
It is baffling to me that someone with even a small portion of a brain like Mick Mulvaney thinks that Trump’s “Titanic” of an administration is able to be salvaged and that somehow he is the political genius to do it!
Sure, Mick! Jump in, the water’s fine! I’m sure Donnie Dipshit will be happy to execute ALL of your fine ideas…literally!
That Kelly hasn’t already resigned because he has been effectively neutered, never mind in protest over obscene policies, shows what a hollow man he is at his core.
