Discussion: WH Won't Say If Trump Would Extend DACA If Congress Can't Pass A Solution

Sanders:“Americans should be celebrating… President whose top priority is to uphold the law.”

Trump’s Law, that is…
“la loi, c’est moi”

Shorter Donnie: We have no fucking idea what we’re doing, or how we even got here.

“We’d like to have confidence that Congress will actually do their job,” she replied. “We’re going to ask that they do that and that they allow us to work with them and be part of that process, but again, if Congress doesn’t want to do the job that they were elected to do, then maybe they should get out of the way and let someone else do it.”

I can’t help but compare that to what Obama faced from Congress and the fact that he was, arguably, doing their job for them when he put DACA in place precisely because they were refusing to do theirs.

How fucking infuriating can this hypocritical circus of white nationalist bullshit get?

The buck stops anywhere else, people are saying, just anywhere else you can imagine. Believe me!

Predicting what der Furor will do in the next minute is writing on water. Six months? Might was well peer into the entrails of a sheep.

Maybe there isn’t even a buck. Nobody really knows.

Unless it is actual money. And then it all goes to Donnie Two Scoops.

Let them get out of the way…

Wonderful way of telling Congress not only what to do but how. Great way to win enemies and lose friends!

Go Sarah!

Why do they even ask her questions? She knows nothing, won’t confirm anything, and lies about everything. And Wittle Donnie is going to change his mind a dozen times anyway.

“People in the administration” are already saying that Dear Leader doesnt understand what he just did and is going to lose it when he feels the blowback.

They won’t say because Trump doesn’t know ( Who knows what mood he’ll be in then?) and seriously does not care.

“We’d like to have confidence that Congress will actually do their job,” she replied.

I had no idea she moonlighted as a comedienne…

“I’m here every night @ 8. Thank you all for coming, you’re a great crowd. And folks don’t forget to tip your wait person.”

“Give me your legally tired, your legally poor,
Your legally huddled masses legally yearning to breathe legally free,
The legal wretched refuse of your legal teeming shore.
Send these, the legally homeless, legally tempest-tossed, to me:
I lift my lamp beside the golden door, if you are legal.”

We’re going to ask that they do that and that they allow us to work with them and be part of that process, but again, if Congress doesn’t want to do the job that they were elected to do, then maybe they should get out of the way and let someone else do it.”

to be continued in 2018/2019, because who are we kidding here.

That’s because the answer is NO!!! The President has NO authority to grant legal status to ILLEGAL immigrants. Only Congress can take such action. Why that is so difficult for certain people to understand?

Except the President has no Constitutional Authority to do the job of Congress. What if Trump decided that the there should be a flat tax of 15% but Congress won’t act, so he just directs the IRS to only collect taxes at a 15% flat rate?

I bet you leftist would be screaming for impeachment and not cheering him acting because Congress didn’t.

As all those young people are rounded up and returned to countries they barely remember Donald will say, “I love those people…it’s not MY fault…it’s the do nothing Congress…blame them not me!!!”

Maybe if you troll harder with even stupider analogies, it will result in a winning argument?

DACA was legal because it was an exercise of prosecutorial discretion…and an eminently reasonable one given the increase in criminal deportations Obama was able to achieve by shifting enforcement focus and priorities. Trying to compare that to a POTUS ignoring the tax code to tell the IRS to do whatever he wants is nonsense. If you don’t understand that, then please return to the kid’s table and someone will be by to cut your meat for you shortly, because you clearly aren’t ready for sharp implements.

Your insistence on mischaracterizing it the way Faux News taught you to is what we don’t understand. The POTUS has 100% power to set forth law enforcement policy as to who law enforcement will focus on as a priority. If he says to focus on the criminals first, not innocent kids, then that’s it…prosecutorial discretion successfully exercised.
